  1. Expect to have some very unfortunate bowel movements tomorrow.
  2. I'll take "No One Cares" for $400.
  3. I'm gonna straight up murder your ass and end your undefeated season.
  4. Remember when I ruined your perfect season?
  5. Really glad I'm not playing you this week.
  6. If you ever listen to their podcast, Sayre sounds a poindexter dumbass. He's so boring to listen to, it's actually painful.
  7. Meanwhile Albert Almora is basically a CF version of Nomar Garciaparra, already in the majors, and younger than Winker.
  8. Do people even do 12 team dynasties? Lol
  9. I've seen "the next Robles" on Acuna several times at BP, he's just parroting the house sentiment.
  10. You MUST own him in another league to paint such a flattering assessment. Edit: Yep, PL.
  11. Him picking up 3B would be great since David Wright literally died. Er, figuratively literally, that is.
  12. Boxy's boyfriend Bret Sayre pouring cold water all up on this draft. --- Que (Panhandle): Do you think Jaime Schultz can continue his command growth sufficiently to be an above average rotation piece in an Aaron Sanchez-lite kind of way? Thanks for the chat! Bret Sayre: I don't see it. I think he's a back-end guy at best flashtheleather (HELLLOOO BRET WITH ONE T): Josh Ockimey is beasting in A ball. What do you make of this? Bret Sayre: Not getting too excited at this point. Fine to speculate, but talk to me when he's in Double-A. Donny (The Block): Of these OF's: Acuna, Cozens, Christin Stewart and Bader. How would you rank them in terms of future fantasy impact? Thanks. Bret Sayre: I'd go Acuna, Stewart, Cozens, Bader. That said, I fully expect the Cardinals to make me look stupid. Ronald (Acuna): Who is this years Victor Robles? Bret Sayre: Uhh. you? Jimmy (Baltimore): Tyler O Neil is raking. Can he be a future OF1? Bret Sayre: Nope. Brad (NJ): What do you think of Tyler O'neill and where do you think he ranks in next year's ranking? Bret Sayre: I'd be pretty surprised if he ended up in the top-50. It's not a profile I particularly like and it's a bad situation for him. Max (TX): In your opinion, what's the gap from Benintendi to a guy like Manuel Margot? Bret Sayre: He's a tier down. Margot more steals, but less average and power. David (Atlantis): What should we think about the performance of Cody Reed so far this season? (I refer to the Arizona one) Is his performance something we should be paying attention to as legitimate or is it more smoke & mirrors? Bret Sayre: Worth paying attention to, but don't translate that into TORP potential.
  13. Adam Duvall has a better ISO than Arenado, EE, Machado, Donaldson, and everybody else but David Ortiz. We all saw that coming, right?
  14. All I know is he looks exactly like Adrian Gonzalez.
  15. .387 BABIP and 19% HR/FB are definitely sustainable. As a Jays fan, I'm enjoying the ride, but I don't know which hits first between a serious injury and run-of-the-mill RTTM.
  16. He doesn't sux at any category, he's above average in Winz, Ks, OBPA, slightly above average in K/BB, and usually rly good in ERAz. I mean, obviously not this year.
  17. We already knew that after you traded Hoz for Hansel Robles.
  18. Yeah he doesn't have the batted ball mix to be a high average hitter, but that can change. The K/BB, ISO, and BABIP all check out very nicely. I'd love to get another share of him if I could, but I'll just enjoy him for the year in PL.
  19. A career .377 wOBA for a 25 year old CF is definitely promising, and he's kept his power gains going for awhile now. The walk rate is sweet. The fact that the Dodgers DFAed Crawford so they could give Thompson a full-time job was definitely a good sign, also. He's kind of right in that grey area before we all start acknowledging that perhaps he's just a much better hitter than anybody expected him to be. And he's a great athlete too, obviously. He's probably already a better hitter than Todd Frazier.
  20. Pretty much all of my non-2016-draftees that I earmarked as possible 60 OFPs have been snatched up now; all the choice international guys, helium guys and late bloomers. Now I'm glad I didn't bother to acquire any late picks.
  21. I don't even know what mine is, like 6th? I think.
  22. They are very comparable in many respects.
  23. He actually hit 97 in his last start and averaged about 94.
  24. His velo is intact, he's just battling through some control issues, hence the elevated BB and HR rates. I think he'll be just fine. He still has a career 3.20/3.55/3.59 over 557 IP, why Boxy thinks that qualifies as suck is beyond me; especially since he should be keenly aware of just how sucky suck actually is. I don't normally make a habit of selling low on consistent fantasy contributors on the right side of 30.
