You still upgraded Felix to a younger, more bankable ace, and I traded an OF2 for an impact CF in return for that pitching downgrade. It's about the same really, I just get my production now instead of having to wait for Pollock.
It's easy for me to say now, but I absolutely intended on keeping Pollock the whole time because I was never going to sell him at a discount after trading MadBum. I never even floated him in trade talks until I heard Yoe was available. Since Yoe has CF tied up for 2017, I was ok with moving Pollock.
Happy trails, A.J. Pollock, we hardly knew ye. Chris Shaw and Harrison Bader are going to Gryffindor in this trade. I can't edit the Google Doc from work, so if someone else could please move them over. If not, I'll do it when I get home.
A string of injuries has completely laid waste to my OF, Jesus Christ. First Wright (ie. Valencia), then Bowteesta, now good Chris Young. And I was just trying to hold down the fort til Pollock came back! FML.
Yeah, the bar for being useful at SS in fantasy is pretty easy to clear if he can stick. He could have some 40 SB seasons, and SB are pretty rare these days.
His contact rate is quite a bit below league average, so I'd be worried that he's going to get exposed pretty badly once the league gets more looks at him. I agree he's better than Alcides for fantasy purposes, although that really isn't saying much considering Alcides is currently the #1 ranked hitter in TAC by a whopping 40 points.
