    You said it was a vetoable deal, which is preposterous unless you think a player involved is an elite asset. You're the one who framed Profar's supposed value, so I called your bluff. It was a joke offer to begin with.

    z3r0s has a great young core and hands-down the best farm in the league. That team is going to be a perennial contender maybe as soon as next year.

    I probably won't even trade Profar. I like his chances of contributing across all categories without killing me, he's a solid utility player. He's got 2B and 3B locked down for next season, and is 3 starts away from SS, so that's not bad. Obviously, his bat doesn't play well at 1B. I don't think he'll ever be the star we thought he was in 2012, although ironically, back then, I was the low man on Profar.

    People are always so reactionary. Best case scenario for Profar is like Yunel Escobar. I already communicated with the people who fapped over Profar, and none of them were willing to give up what I consider interesting core pieces for him. So really, it's all just smoke-blowing. Also, I think you pretty clearly beat me on the draft pick side of the deal, a 2nd round pick for a 2-slot upgrade in a flat draft class is pretty good. Tillman is a solid innings eater mid rotation guy on a team that should help him get to a good win total, he's a perfectly cromulent asset in this format.

    You have a lot of gall to ask for that, after Kluber, DeGrom, and Rich Hill being Clayton Kershaw when it mattered the most. Thankfully Nicasio didn't pan out.

    I've been through a lot of hardships in this league, it's about damn time I got my free 40 HR hitter.

    I barely watch hockey so naturally I know absolutely zero about prospects. I never even heard of Auston Matthews until like a month ago. I just set lineups n s***, sometimes I give GD an additional perspective on trades he's cooking up. I'd quit the league, but it's really such a tiny commitment that I won't bother. That said, I have pretty good fantasy hockey resume. In Nox' league, which I've been in for 4 seasons, I've finished 2nd, 1st, 2nd, and 2nd, and I also won this league in 2012 when it was a 14 team redraft format, and I finished 3rd in 2013. I may not know s*** about hockey, but I'm damn good at fantasy.
