  1. That would be a great haul for Pittsburgh. We can't beat that, so hopefully it's not true.
  2. AA went through a prospect hoarding phase before the Marlins trade. I think most GMs are smart enough to realize when they should buy and when they should hold. Let's not be so quick to pigeonhole Shatkins into a particular paradigm.
  3. FINALLY. Thanks.
  4. I don't have to, I'll just pillage the waiver draft like I always do.
  5. I had an open NA spot so I decided to stash him, which was legal since he pitched in AA in 2015. I might even keep him, he could debut any time and potentially be a solid SP.
  6. Unowned prospects that did not hit AA or higher in the previous year cannot be added to MLB rosters on Yahoo, even if they hit AA, unless they are called up to the big leagues. --- Prospects may not be promoted to the MLB roster until they have played at least one game at AA or higher. Similarly, free agent prospects may not be added to a MLB man roster until they have played at AA or higher. (Note: This rule is intended to prevent issues arising from owning players in the low minors added to the database by Yahoo.)
  7. These guys can all be had for draft picks: Brad Hand (111 Ks in relief!) Brett Lawrie (is terrible, please take him) Ryan Madson (30 saves) Jake Diekman Jim Johnson (20 saves, 2.71 FIP) Tyler Beede (MLB tho)
  8. We'll still have at least one and probably two picks within that range. Give me the WAR now while we have Donaldson.
  9. The max I'd give him is 4/$80, but I don't think Shatkins would give him that. I'll reserve judgement until I see the money involved, but I think he's a good fit as a player.
  10. I really don't give a s*** about losing a 1st rd pick in the late 20s. Sign me up for Fowler.
  11. As evidenced by me drafting him 345th overall in BORED. Not bad for the season he turned in.
  12. He's eligible, unless promoted. He will be promoted, I'm just pointing out that he hasn't been... yet.
  13. They're very similar players, in fact Carter has a better career wOBA. I don't see why any team would willingly pay 3x as much for Trumbo + give up a draft pick for the privilege.
  14. Either one would definitely work for me.
  15. At this point I would say first overall in the Waiver Draft should be this guy <-----------
  16. https://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/1190
  17. I wouldn't sweat it just yet, he might end up in Colorado.
  18. To be honest, Thames' ceiling kinda seems like the season Carter just had. But what do I know.
  19. OH s***! CCC was DFAed after a 40 HR season LOLLLLL
  20. Is he even confirmed to be coming back stateside?
  21. Hurl just offered me a slightly better pick for Watson, but I'll honour the offer you made.
