    We don't need pitching, we need to create positive run differential. Pitching is just the most obvious place where this can be upgraded, not necessarily the most cost-effective.

    Rule of thumb is anything that doesn't leave bruising or welts. Slapping and light choking and hair pulling, spitting, etc can be mild/lite rough play within specified boundaries. I've done that kinda stuff by request, even though it's not really my bag. Closed fist punching anywhere on the body is definitely well beyond accepted rough play. Even if she gave consent for that kind of violence, Bauer should have had the common sense to not go that far when he is a well-known public figure. Seems extremely reckless. Still, the possibility remains in my mind that she requested the former, faked the latter, and is now using vague text messages as ammo for a payday.

    Glad to see Rowdy go. He's a bad player who probably beat up his girlfriend. He'll be out of MLB in 2 years or less. I'm actually very surprised that Ross could even get a viable MLB reliever for him, as Rowdy is a below average hitter with no defensive value and the very definition of replacement level.

    I’d be SO f***ing pissed if I was an Orlando or Minnesota fan right now, although said fans are largely hypothetical. Their teams f***ing stink, they tanked hard, and they just missed out on a clear Top 4.
