  1. Keon Broxton, Ryon Healy, Rob Gsellman, Jorge Alfaro I define a sleeper as someone who is mostly undrafted in shallow leagues and isn't an elite prospect, but who could conceivably become fantasy-relevant across all formats.
  2. But, um, maybe call up Greg Bird too, then.
  3. Benintendi is sick, I'd call him up just to enjoy watching him play a bit more. It's not like he's going back down, and I think Boxy is past the tank stage of rebuilding. I actually don't think boxy will be a bottom 5 team this year!
  4. Clearly not, since literally none of those guys are sleepers. Lol @ Schwarber, the guy is a Top 50 pick in most drafts. People are already paying for production that has never been actualized, that's the complete opposite of a sleeper.
  5. I still kept a share, but I'll acknowledge that Seager is probably considerably better.
  6. I like Reed so I'm not going to strongly disagree with you, but he has yet to prove he can hit major league pitching. I don't WANT him to fail! But there's a good chance he might.
  7. TBH I just acquired Kyle to keep Corey happy.
  8. Actually I disagree with this. He did have a monster year. His wRC+ was on par with Betts, Encarnacion, Cespedes, Goldy, Braun. Safeco dings him a bit, but still had a monster year.
  9. I gave up Yelich & Sano for McCutch, Todd Frazier, Drew Pomeranz, right before Pomeranz got traded and proceeded to suck/be hurt for the rest of the season. I do agree I gave up a lot, in fact I told P2F several times it made me uncomfortable and I had to sleep on it. At the end of the day, if I lose a trade to a rebuilding team with a good owner, I can live with that.
  10. I still have him in DDL, so I won't be able to avoid it.
  11. Pomeranz has been nothing but an injured disappointment since the day I traded for him. The other two I do like, but have concerns about. Healy could be an OBP liability and might not be so hot once pitchers start pitching him up, plus he's already been moved off 3B and could lose eligibility as soon as next season. I like Reed, although he could quickly become a dead asset. I'll still pull for him. Seager is still the best player in the deal, I think the only way I'll really regret it is if A.J. Reed becomes the masher we thought he might be last offseason.
  12. It sounds like a space age fabric.
  13. AJ Reed is also going to P2F as a part of the Kyle Seager deal. Farewell, fat man.
  14. Carter can cruise on over to KBO! The Bird is the word.
  15. The 20 WAR that Edwin racked up from 2012-2016 do not count as a part of that deal. The Blue Jays DFA Edwin in 2011 and he was claimed by A's, closing that portion of the Scott Rolen transaction. The Blue Jays then claimed Edwin again off waivers from the A's, and proceeded to bank 20 WAR from their claimee. Separate transaction, tho.
  16. JPR: What the f*** is a WAR? Keith, call Security.
  17. Please god let AJ Reed become a White Sox.
  18. I don't think it's likely that Meadows will ever be as good as Springer is already.
  19. Damn, Miguel Sano is striking out at 43% so far this spring.
  20. Kinda seems like an unnecessary commitment to a player who has an unusually high chance of busting.
  21. Seriously WTF is wrong with Joey Votto that he refuses to allow a trade. If I were him I'd be glad to go ANYWHERE else.
  22. I'm still on the Reed wagon with you. I'm pretty sure Osuna is about to go boom, anyway. I don't really lose any sleep over DJLM because his season looks like such an outlier, but it did piss me off that he had like a 1.000 OPS from the day I traded him ROS.
