I don't agree (all due respect, KK). Rebuilding teams should be hoarding players like Margot and hoping that some of them turn out better than expected. A 2nd round pick doesn't really get you much these days, you probably won't draft a prospect who'll be as highly regarded as Margot was just last year. And it's not like KK was facing a roster crunch, he's ostensibly shipping Margot out so he can play Trea in CF and get Brandon Phillips into his starting lineup.

Boxy just got too invested in Greg Bird, Hendricks, Aledmys, and Pearce. He thought they were all a lot more reliable than they are. But I think beyond that, he has a good core: Miggy, Cruz, Conforto, Scherzer, Devenski, Miller, Britton. Duvall is an ok secondary player. I stand by my pre-2016 assessment that Villar sux. There's the makings of a contender in there, assuming Miggy and Cruz don't fall off a cliff at the same time. Why he constantly wants to rag on your team, I have no idea... I'm guessing it has to do with being the butt of DDL jokes for years on end and also losing the tip of his finger.

I was considering offering 22 straight up for Margot, but he looks like he might be fringy as an MLB keeper at this point in his career. I never really considered him that exciting as a fantasy prospect, although I'm a bit surprised to see KK cut bait on him this early in his career.

At least Boxy made the playoffs in this league, though he's still more haughty than he should be.
