  1. Well I mean you already broke Austin Meadows, so I guess why not.
  2. Please get emotionally invested in Yonder Alonso being good.
  3. Oh wow, all 4 of your starters got lit up yesterday. Me likey.
  4. That k rate is actually normalizing, and Broxton will run high BABIPs because he has elite exit velo and wheels. He can go 20/40 with counting stats and a .340+ OBP. He's a very interesting CF asset in our format. Nobody is saying he's elite.
  5. BTS can I get a Broxton price check, please? You're welcome.
  6. I think I've heard that sometimes hitting prospects get skipped past FSL because it's an extreme pitcher's league and destroys their confidence. Or some s*** like that.
  7. Plate discipline/approach and additional defensive work required for a SS. I could be totally wrong!
  8. Vlad could be in Dunedin any time now. Bichette will probably stay in Lansing all season, if I had to guess.
  9. He starts with his hands very high, and there are a lot of moving parts. Very pronounced leg kick. I think he's an OF probably.
  10. I think Bichette is a top 100 guy but there remain a lot of doubts about his swing and his eventual position. I don't think he'll make any of the major midseason Top 50s, that would be a big leap.
  11. I think they just wanted to be conservative with a teenager who had yet to play full season ball and didn't have a clear cut position. They got a lot of backlash for omitting him, however, even at the time.
  12. It's actually pretty nuts how much better Vlad's K/BB is than Eloy's. We could be looking at the emergence of a super-elite hitter, although I really don't like to get my hopes up. Edit: Sorry, I was looking at Eloy's 2016 line. He hasn't played this year, but I'm guessing he's assigned to A+ ball. Still, comparing their A-ball numbers, Vlad is well ahead.
  13. I think right now, at this moment, he's completely on par with Eloy Jimenez... and Eloy landed at #10 on the aggregate rankings. They're both bat-first prospects raking at the same level, but Vlad is 2 years younger.
  14. I don't see any way he moves past Dunedin this season, but I think it's possible he's a consensus Top 5 at some point next year after a few graduations.
  15. That's going to look like such a hilariously bad omission, especially considering they put Gsellman in their Top 20. Vlad is probably approaching consensus Top 20 prospect at this point, and I think could crack some mid-season Top 10s.
  16. Buster Posey is the only catcher worth trusting, and even his ISO is getting awfully Joe Mauer-y. There's only one catcher inside our Top 200 at the moment (it's not Posey).
  17. Eh, maybe you're right boxy. I'm perusing the farms and I probably wouldn't trade Miller for any prospect outside the consensus Top 15.
  18. Well, I would have done it a few weeks ago, and I don't think a bad month should really change my mind about that. Z3r0s has no interest in undoing that deal.
  19. Yes, women love cheap giveaway costume jewelry.
  20. I'd probably still reverse that trade, given the opportunity. It would take a prospect of similar caliber to pry Miller away from me. Luckily for all of you, silvergun no longer has such prospects.
  21. If anybody wants to blow me away for Andrew Miller, I'll listen.
