  1. Bo Bichette, SS, Toronto Blue Jays (Low-A Lansing) The left side of the Lansing Lugnuts’ infield is very young but deep on talent and major league dna. With Vlad Jr. behind him in the lineup and next to him in the field, Bo Bichette has been tearing up the Midwest League. The 2016 second-round pick has a slim, athletic build that is projectable for future strength and bulk. Bichette has 70 grade raw speed, with an average of 4.08 home to first on the five times that I recorded. In the field he is solid yet unspectacular; his range and hands are average for a shortstop. The arm strength is also average for the position but is accurate. He features a violent swing that starts with a deep load and high leg kick. Raw, pull power is generated by above-average bat speed and a swing that generates mild leverage. Maybe the most impressive aspect of Bichette’s game has been his advanced approach at the plate. There is good command of the strike zone and recognition of offspeed pitches. In my looks, he was not fooled by breaking stuff and stayed balanced, which is rare especially for a player so young. Projectable growth might eventually necessitate a move to second base and make the speed grade tick down a notch. However, the hit and power tools should cause quick advancement through the Jays’ system. —Nathan Graham
  2. Yeah, it's fun, but his production barely plays at C these days in fantasy.
  3. Yeah, I mean just give me a throw-in piece and we can call it a deal. Sale is #4, Bryant is #26, I just need a spoonful of sugar to make it happen.
  4. I thought we were closing in on Bryant for Sale. Just keep Suarez, he's a stud.
  5. Eric Thames is good, Marwin nah. I think Thames' ROS projections look very reasonable to me.
  6. Intentionally left him and Schebler off the list. I like them both, especially because that ballpark is such a joke. I think both are legit 30 HR candidates as long as they are starters in Cinci.
  7. Eh, I picked up a share in a shallow league. I buy improvement, but this level is nowhere near sustainable. I think you're looking a career year and then going forward maybe a 20 HR guy with an OPS under .800 until he starts declining. Better than the useless POS he was, but nowhere near a star.
  8. Oh and Cozart, but that probably goes without saying.
  9. Hitters I refuse to buy in on: Alonso Zimmerman Mark Reynolds LoMo Hicks Judge (at anything close to this level) Marwin I actually buy Smoak a little bit. Wouldn't mind picking up a dynasty share. The rest of them are all due to come crashing down to Earth.
  10. Meh, IMO he's entitled to chuck his helmet at the pitcher. He just got smoked in his hip with a 98 MPH fastball, that's definitely a more destructive object than a plastic helmet.
  11. But Bryce wasn't a straight up fight, he threw his helmet first.
  12. Boxy, you're on Team Duvall, right? Dude is making a run for 40 HR this season. Now I won't say he'll cruise past it, but it could happen.
  13. This is the hitter they thought Smoak was as a prospect.
  14. 15. Thanks guys. I took today off and I'll assess tomorrow. Luckily I work somewhere where we can take Personal Needs days. It was a crazy enough week already as I'm moving next Saturday, so it's a lot to deal with all at once.
  16. Sorry in advance for the overshare... About 4 hours ago, my dog passed away. She struggled with breathing/heart issues all weekend and this morning around 6 am, she had a massive heart attack and died in my arms. She suffered from a heart murmur for years now, which progressed over time. As a result, her heart had to compensate and became extremely enlarged. She was my best fried and companion for 12 years. This was not my family's dog, this was my personal dog that I raised from the age of 19. As tragic as it was to watch her die, I'm grateful to be the last thing she saw and the last person she heard. I told her I loved her and that was she was a good girl until her last breath. Needless to say, this hasn't all really sunken in yet. I'm getting a lot of love from friends and family that is helping to lift me up. If I'm ruder than usual, or absent, please try to let it slide. More likely I'll keep myself immersed in this pointless pastime to keep myself distracted from the pain. She was a f***ing great dog, and cute as all hell. Rest in peace Cori <3
  17. I don't think it's a homer pick at this point.
  18. I really want some Schwarb shares, but I don't have the right pieces to make it happen.
  19. I don't really buy his power gains, but overall his line does look relatively sustainable.
  20. Marwin is gonna sux tho We should have just done FF for Sale straight up
