  1. Man I hope Rick Porcello walks everyone except Bregman and White, then Gattis has a pinch hit grand slam.
  2. Yep. There are multiple avenues for me to lose.
  3. My matchup with L54 will be totally decided by the Sunday night HOU/BOS game.
  4. Someone PM/text me when waiver draft starts.
  5. Mandatory minimum free agency age of 27 + unlimited arb years until then.
  6. Kopech needs TJS. Pitching prospects!
  7. This is where we disagree. That is the Angels babying him because he had existing elbow and ankle injuries. If he's fully health you pitch him once every 7 days and DH him 5-6 days a week. That is what Ohtani wants and believes he can handle if healthy.
  8. He's going to need TJS anyway if you want him in the OF, so why wouldn't you pitch him again after all that rehab? He's a really good pitcher.
  9. Seeing as how he can still hit like a boss with a UCL tear, you can probably give him TJS the day the season ends, have him rehab during the offseason, and still DH pretty much to start next season, if not in the first half of 2019. Hold him off from pitching all of next year and let him DH while he rehabs the arm, then you're good to go in 2020. I don't see the problem.
  10. WTF... Ohtani goes deep again, and steals a base.
  11. If anything I may trade Pohtani this offseason.
  12. Ohtani needs TJS and still cracks dingers on back to back nights. What a beauty. This guy is going to DH 80% of next season.
  13. DunedinDan: Seems like Nate Pearson’s lost year hasn’t affected his prospect status as much as you’d think since he’s still on some top 100 lists. Is this because of his velo, the nature of his injury, both, neither? 12:38 Kiley McDaniel: Both I guess, it wasn’t TJ and his stuff was getting more consistent with each outing and apparently he hit 100 last night
  14. I think you've got it backwards. This is an example of a family who doesn't know how to pronounce their own ethnic name, has bastardized and Americanized it, and now insists everyone else says it that way. Which is, IMO, a far worse sin.
  15. Kinda crazy how Votto turned into a slap-hitting bitch this year. 9 HR in 532 PA! SLG lower than his OBP!? ISO is comparable to Whit Merrifield and Brett Gardner.
  16. Yeah, just take out the part where he was good and he clearly sucks. Thanks Pat Tabler!
  17. I believe I have filled my 15 Keepers and 5 Waiver Draft picks, with 6 prospects, so for my next 4 picks, please just auto-draft the next highest available Entry Draft picks and I'll call it a day.
  18. Next two highest waiver picks for me... 38/39 I think?
  19. If someone could just post the remaining Entry and Waiver draft picks, that would probably clear up a lot of confusion for the remainder of the draft, because it's mostly picks from here on out.
  20. You took 23 before. 21 and 22 are already gone to Brenner.
  21. I'll take Brent Seabrook and prospect Alex Nedeljkovic
  22. No, it's not. Brenner took 21/22 last night, mistakenly believing they were Entry Draft picks. Entry Draft #s 21 and 22 were not available. Somewhere along the line they got mislabelled.
  23. Who is up anyway? Hurl?
  24. I pretty much love my team. C - Steven Stamkos C - Mark Scheifele LW - Clayton Keller LW - Ilya Kovalchuk? RW - Leon Draisaitl RW - Jakub Voracek F - Mathew Barzal F - Brandon Saad D - Zach Werenski D - Mark Giordano D - Josh Manson G - Devan Dubnyk G - Jake Allen G - Semyon Varlamov The forward group seems especially sexy with an outstanding blend of present production and upside. I've neglected the prospect side a bit (Borgstrom is a possible stud I suppose), but that's not my strong suit in hockey since I'm not a rabid fan. I planned to double up on goalies at multiple points in order to start runs and monopolize the position for trade leverage. It didn't quite work out that way, but I'm happy with the Andersen for Barzal trade and I think I'll make due just fine with the 3 middle-of-the-pack starters I have. The scoring settings in this league seem to heavily favour skilled forwards so my strategy was to stack as much firepower and youth as I could.
  25. 21, 22, and 23 are waiver picks u n00bs
