Ok so this raises an interesting discussion point. We wouldn't get a prospect as highly ranked as Allard, dogg. So that's #1. However the more germane thing is that Allard is on the Braves 40 man roster, so they wouldn't be able to trade him to us unless he also cleared waivers, which would never happen.

You'd have to be real dumn to think Yahoo could handle something like an online dispersal draft for 15 keepers each for 4 teams.

They are definitely pretty extreme, but they haven't given him many PAs to improve against lefties as they bench him vs left-handed starters and he doesn't start interleague games/has missed time on the DL. For a hitter this young and gifted, I'd think over time he could turn into a 100 wRC+ vs same-handed pitching kind of hitter.
