  1. Classy move - sure everyone will appreciate it.
  2. What's with all of the obnoxious ramblings in this thread? Are there guideline for what constitutes a valid topic? If you don't like a particular thread either don't read it or put the OP on ignore. Some of you really need to grow up or you will be part of the reason why some will leave and/or prevent new individuals from joining the forum. But then again, maybe that's your hidden agenda so you can keep this as your personal playground whereby you can hopefully be viewed as big shots. *end of rant*
  3. I disagree on both counts: - A Jays win would not have made a difference if KC also won and it looks like KC will win so this game was definitely meaningless. - The decision makers did not treat it like it was a meaningless game. By allowing Buehrle to pitch 2 innings to reach a milestone would have made it meaningful. Buehrle did not have his stuff, the defense also contributed to the situation, and the Rays had a lot of luck (grounders/bloops to get on base for the HR).
  4. Take the high road and move on?
  5. It could be cuz they already feel sorry for you.
  6. I think Pillar's D has surpassed everyone's (manager, coaches, and team-mates) expectation. Right now it's like "Wow, here he goes again surprising the hell out of us". Even though the gem plays keeps being repeated it's still hard tp believe what they are seeing. I am happy for Pillar.
  7. Yeahhhh, kinda hard to choose between Spiderman's grab vs Superman's snag. Both were impressive.
  8. He is not the only one and it has been tolerated for long so it's the norm now. Reminds me of little kids saying their first curse word, giggling about it, and repeating it constantly.
  9. Oh my... oh my... Carrera and his diving again. Sighhhhhh!
  10. Check for Jays in 30 later tonight - it may have this one.
  11. They haven't won the grand prize (WS) however they have won the Division and that is a huge achievement.
  12. That was really funny - Thanks
  13. ... and Encarnacion to hit 3 more for the AL single-season record of three players with at least 40 HR.
  14. Guess he must have been paying to Pillar's highlights.
  15. Good for you - I finish work at 3:00 so I have enough time to prepare my room for untold hours of baseball.
  16. How is it even possible for someone to be this negative I do not know - You must have had a really hard time as a kid.
  17. Bad time for that cuz home field advantage will be a huge benefit. After they cinch the division and best record in the league they can celebrate within limits as their whole focus should now be on the WS. Celebrating is important cuz it's a huge milestone however focusing on the main, elusive goal is of paramount importance. After that they can celebrate every day and every night till Spring 2016.
  18. It's certainly not ideal however that's a lot of Jays baseball to watch.
  19. Would prefer to see Bautista reaching his 40th to have 2 Jays with at least 40 HR in the season. It would be the absolute best if Encarnacion can get 4 HRs before the end of the season as well so the Jays can have 3 at the same time which will break the AL record and tie the NL record.
  20. Twice already. I think I get your point. Now, can you just try to sit back and let the game unfold?
  21. Another candidate? Stroman - bad rehab start
  22. Thanks for that link - you just made me relive that moment in many languages.
  23. I would like to see that as well but they will need to supplement that with scoring runs and having good defense at the same time. All it takes is 1 run to win (1 pitching error) and the Yankees have boot speed and good hitters in their lineup. The Yankees BP is good as well however they have been worked hard lately which hopefully can impact the end result.
  24. Having Stroman in the rotation at this point of the season is a blessing especially with the way he has been pitching. The BP did their job so kudos to Cecil (3 up and 3 down) and Osuna (got the job done) as well. The defense was good also - amazing DP Smoak/Goins and Pillar's contribution in CF. The team was firing on all cylinders.
