  1. He is already on my IL. It is easier for me to put those imbeciles in my special dark room where the majority of their whining is kept hidden from my eyes.
  2. Pillar has been simply amazing. Really happy for him!
  3. lol at all the professional baseball players in here. They know it is so easy to play this game under these conditions.
  4. You really need to take that foot out of your mouth now.
  5. Not sure I can sit through the entire game in here. Some of these individuals are so negative it sucks the joy right out of the game.
  6. Do you really think they have the guts to actually pitch to him?
  7. Bautista sure is garnering a lot of hate in here at the moment.
  8. If you walk hitters you are looking for it to come back and bite you. Royals got a break with Bautista's error but it really should have been a single. No need to panic so soon.
  9. Really? The Jays have not even had an at-bat. I see tonight is going to be a s***-show in here.
  10. He is definitely composed, articulate, and well spoken. My stomach is always tied up in knots whenever he pitches though.
  11. Sorry to say this but this guy comes across as a tool to me. Maybe I am misinterpreting the essence of the whole article cuz he starts of stating widely acknowledge facts with respect to his make-up/character. Then he compares Bautista's humility to other teammates to what end? Then calling him an old man as if he is already washed-up - There are many other teams who would love to have him in their fold for next year and maybe even the year after that - so much for insinuating he is an old man. What was the purpose of bringing Price's quote into the article especially since Price made it clear that he was not calling Bautista a "rat"? I am sure the other umpires/managers have never referred to Bautista as a "rat" so what was that all about? So what if Bautista gave the ump an evil stare? Sometimes their decision can cause any sane individual to go bonkers especially in crucial parts of the game. A wrong decision can change the whole batter's approach. He then brings up the case where Bautista sunk to the ground on another terrible call? That was a crucial at-bat in a crucial game that the umpire blew. Is Mr Simmons insinuating that a normal person would have just turned around and trotted to the dugout happily whistling a tune? I could go on some more about the article but it will only anger me some more. What's with the insinuation that he is not a supportive teammate. I do not agree with him as not being supportive but I can see why he would be cold towards reporters asking him about the play. It lead to an implosion so of course it will be a touchy subject. He said to go and look at the replay and if the writer did he should be able to understand that in a game where the crowd is roaring the players cannot hear themselves and as such have to depend on hand signals. From the replay it could be seen that Goins hand signals was saying "I've got it". What was that other piece of nonsense on Bautista's hitting? He is hitting 0-5 against the Royals but they walked him 4 times? Hitting is hard enough as it is and impossible when they are walking you instead. It's true Bautista attitude is abrasive at times and there are many who dislike him intensely but the whole slant of this article came off badly for me.
  12. Haven't seen a problem with goins' glove and he was responsible for bringing in a run. What more do you want from 2B? 3 runs?. Just be happy cuz not even the good hitters are being more consistent this series.
  13. ... and about the "wire" and "the glove"
  14. True, but it is nice to see him making good contact. We can hope he gets a bigger hit next time around.
  15. There is no pleasing some people. Why can't some people be happy that he got a hit and see it as a possibility that he may be coming around? Some of you make it really painful to participate in here.
  16. Gibbons does not micro manage his team - I do not believe he called it.
  17. The offense needs to wake up or they will suffer a similar fate. They were able to rip a few balls hard but they were hit straight at players - kinda unlucky but that's how it flies sometimes. I really hope Encarnacion is not injured and does not need a few days off as that would really be a bad piece of luck for the Jays. Anyway, today is a new day and the Jays know the situation better than most. They most probably will be coming out to play hard and play with a renewed vengeance. I am already preparing for the game (eats/drinks/system checks - Laptop working, TV working/"Do Not disturb" sign on the door at the fingertips) and just anxiously waiting for it to start. Here is to hoping the Jays have an explosive offensive outburst which silences the crowd and any bias broadcasters (cuz that makes my ears, eyes, and nose bleed all at the same time - just too much to handle.)
  18. They always have their coverage (talk-show) on the game 30 mins before start?
  19. The magnitude of that play was not fully accredited at the time however it did play a big part in the lead-up to the game changing moment. The young pitchers also played an integral part in this victory - The successful outcome of this game was quite the team effort, it was truly amazing.
  20. It was memorable for sure. It wasn't a bat flip, Bautista just threw it to the side. What made it magical was the power buried deep within the bat which took on a life of its own and decided, of its own accord, that the moment really merited a bat flip. That bat can be auctioned as well!
