He's had TWENTY SIX three ball counts and TWO walks. I don't even know how that's possible unless you're actually TRYING not to walk...which I think is actually the case.
IMO, JP is trying to stick it to the man and stat geeks (who don't understand the game) everywhere by refusing to walk. He's basically a 27 year old child.
As a comparison, Vernon Wells has a fairly average walk rate. He's had 26 three ball counts and walked 14 times.
