  1. I don't think so. Not like it's some kind of secret.
  2. Less than a month away from the draft. Need to lose a pick and a prospect, or both second rounders before that, so I need to sell fairly soon.
  3. Christ, I'm trying to sell Dempster and it got buried by a dumn 5 million page discussion on f***ing Felix Doubront. DEMPSTER + PICK 37 OR DELINO DESHIELDS FOR YOUR YOUNGER, POSSIBLY NOT ACTIVE, NOT YET QUITE AS GOOD, DEMPSTER-ISH GUY.
  4. Pretty close, actually: "I won't try to push Doubront on you, I don't mind keeping him at all. He's a 25 year old lefty who's posting 10+ K/9 as a starter and struck out a batter per inning last year as a starter. Just my opinion, but I think he'll strike out 200 this year and barely get noticed. I didn't even look at his velo, it's irrelevant at his age."
  5. I seem to be the guinea pig for lopsided trade proposals.
  6. I like how he assumes every liner would turn into a fly ball.
  7. Wow, a lot of discussion about a pretty insignificant trade. Anyway, I'm looking to move Dempster for someone younger and nearly as good. I'm willing to throw in a 2nd rounder.
  8. Odd comp. Doesn't strike out as much, walks a more and doesn't possess that kind of power. More of a Kevin Youkilis imo.
  9. Sounds like he might drop to us @ 10 now. Seriously, thanks for the useless bit of info annoying guy VicRauterFan.
  10. Lol Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo are pretty damn funny.
  11. Who'd have thought a prospect chat could get so heated?
  12. His line drive rate is pretty much the same as it's been for the past 5 years.
  13. He's bad at what, though? This goes beyond umpiring. This would not have been blown by 99.9% of the non-blind or vision impaired community. If he has trouble seeing that, how can you possibly let him judge balls and strikes? This was a call he didn't have to make a snap judgment on, so there's literally no excuse for f***ing it up. Now what happens if the A's miss the playoffs by one game? These bad calls have big ramifications, and something needs to be done because it's getting worse and worse each year. Now with the tech available, bad umpiring is becoming much more noticeable.
  14. People who make a mistake every time they are at work do get fired, though.
  15. Quick find a scapegoat
  16. I watched that at bat on both feeds and didn't see anything.
  17. Too bad, thought I could avoid this retard now that we've switched to this forum.
  18. Yeah, he was pitching really well to the tune of a FIP over 6 with a 100% LOB. Are you retarded? Please go away forever.
  19. Even if this isn't a case of mistaken identity, Ramon Ortiz did have a 2.18 ERA in AAA.
  20. I was under the impression that we moved to this board to avoid this crap.
  21. Sent you an email! Get back to me when you can.
  22. Guys, I am trying to move a couple picks or a prospect like Delino DeShields for (preferably) an ML rostered prospect or a young guy, even if injured.
