  1. Wow guys, I was being totally facetious with those suggestion. Your all dumn.
  2. I have this CF with 80 speed...I heard he's a superstar in the making.
  3. I'm thinking Morales and Mike Morse. We need more power bats.
  4. Miggy's clutchness is based on intangibles. Kind of like his ability to continually avoid major jail time for numerous DUIs.
  5. I deem this not post worthy.
  6. I just want to point out the irony in this post since I have not responded to this guy in this thread at all. Whiners who whine about whiners are the worst.
  7. He's pretty delusional. I dunno why he craves recognition so badly, to an unhealthy degree.
  8. Wow, can't believe I didn't see it before but No49 is totally an Andre.
  9. Assdribble? Really? Just saw you meant Everth. But even so, I wouldn't.
  10. Lol you really crave praise.
  11. Oh, sorry. I meant, "HAHAHAHA!! Oh man, A-Roid, that's so clever and original and I haven't heard anyone else use it before!!! Great thread!!!" Also, I pick 0 games and the fact that you hate him so much makes me want him to get off scot free even more.
  12. A-Roid...so childish.
  13. kgm started calling Nox and Dinger Darrell (I think it's based on some old people thing) and then I guess Nick latched on somehow even though kgm likes him. BTS tries hard to be a Darrell but he just doesn't have what it takes.
  14. It makes plenty of sense that he'd keep using, though I sort of doubt that he still is. He won't catch Bonds, but he can catch others. Recruiting for a clinic makes no sense. First, he's putting his enormous salary on the line and I very much doubt his finders fees approach 20 million bucks. Then he'd know that getting caught would further damage his chances of getting into the HOF. My theory: MLB is getting players to give false testimony to implicate A Rod so they get their witch and the players get a slap on the wrist instead of something more severe.
  15. A Rod is stinking rich. It really just doesn't make sense that he'd be so motivated to implicate himself further by openly recruiting people for this clinic. First, there has to be risk involved on his part there, and two, how much would they have to pay him for it to be worth it? IMO, it's ********. It makes absolutely no sense.
  16. I understand the Donaldson argument for value to his team because of his supporting cast more than Cabrera's. I don't have a huge issue with Cabrera winning TBH, just the reasoning from most voters is bizarre.
  17. Cheer up Nox. Eventually they will have to take some corrective measures, like they did with the gold gloves. This guy probably doesn't even watch baseball and I'm pretty sure Marty York is still allowed to vote. Time to clean up!
  18. http://aldengonzalez.mlblogs.com/2013/11/15/voters-chime-in-on-their-al-mvp-ballots/ Think it's thread worthy. Some of these guys just make you shake your head with their reasoning. Some flat out say the MVP must come from a playoff team. Ballou is a must read on his own.
  19. Interesting article http://www.latimes.com/sports/baseball/mlb/dodgers/la-sp-1115-jp-howell-bullying-20131115,0,3775589.story#axzz2kf5NIk35 JP Howell on bullying in sports. Mostly what made it interesting for me was this line of incredible douchiness: It really reminds you that players are just those unintelligent, ******* jocks you hated in high school. The fact that people accept them, without question, to know the game of baseball is absurd. It's like thinking one of those jocks that got a scholarship to Stanford is a genius just because he attends the school.
  20. Lol @ your sig. Excellence. Wish I could give your posts two likes.
  21. Best tweet of the night: http://www.reactionface.info/sites/default/files/imagecache/Node_Page/images/1287666826226.png
  22. And sadly, their voting trends are used as evidence for the intellectually lazy (aka the average member of society)
  23. The thing that bothers me most about this yearly debate is that I'm reminded how stupid people are and how few actually think for themselves. It's like they take ownership of the award and defend "their guy." No objectivity whatsoever.
  24. But who's Donaldson? Seriously though, the whole "led the team to the playoffs" narrative is just a lazy crock of s***. Had absolutely NOTHING to do with a historically good pitching staff. No sir. Trout should have inspired his pitchers to throw the ball better.
