You can think what you want to, I suppose. I wouldn't call a farm ranked around 20th "great." JPA is not going to substantially increase his trade value, he's been replacement level or lower his entire career. Why not just trade for Hanigan or sign a journeyman like Navarro or Molina instead? All those guys will likely provide more value than JPA for minimal cost. This plan would instantly pain the Jays as non-contenders from the get go to me. What evidence is there that Gose could be better? I'm not going to bother going through the rest. If you think your proposed moves would give the team a chance at a wild card, you're delusional. This list probably takes them past 90 loss territory.

It was really active up until around April or May of this year. Then anyone who wasn't a complete tool was welcomed here and most came. Now, it's just DJBluRay and Sempai buttslapping each other. And secondly, those idiots and other like minded folk are why a new board was necessary. Last straw for me was when the mod banned Spanky again, erasing his post explaining the origins of "bike" used in an insulting manner.

I'd be saying that even if I didn't own them, but I do agree he'd make the team better. Just think he's more needed somewhere else.

I think they have just as nice a rotation without him. Healthy, I think Luebke is a better pitcher anyway and Wieland can probably perform at a similar level for less money.

Weird, though, I was under the impression that SD has a glut of pitching already, especially with the returns of Luebke and Wieland.
