Quite bizarre. I have no idea why certain dipshit posters remain popular and posters like yourself are pushed out. Seems like people are more accepting of RealAccountant which makes no sense to me since he was the reason this board was created in the first place.

Bourn had just come off a 6 win season and had three seasons averaging 4 wins prior to that. I thought the contract was pretty savvy at the time but then Bourn fell apart as a player. Mysteriously stopped stealing bases and somehow stopped being really good on defense. Swisher was a consistent 3-4 win player, then he fell apart too. I think the signings were bad in hindsight but at the time they seemed quite good. Just a couple of absolute worst case scenarios. Oops, I see like 3 other people have said this. Sorry! -

Trout got jobbed his first two years so at least JD is a worthy challenger this season. He's been unreal. On a semi related note, Bryce Harper dipped under a 200 wRC+ for the first time since like...May. Easy call for NL MVP, but time left for Goldschmidt to challenge.
