    I remember when I was in school, we'd go to a bar after class and all the guys in my class would order Bud tall boys. I told them I'd rather piss in my own mouth and they labeled me a beer snob. One of those dipshits heard about the David Clarkson signing during class and was going nuts. I don't know s*** about hockey, but even I was thinking "lol what a noob"

    Gibbons is so dumb. Your GM acquires a shut down 8th inning type and you instead use him in a mop up role to throw meaningless innings. Then you use a far inferior reliever in literally every 8th inning in close games, even if he's had a heavy workload.

    Who is worse? Tampa's and Boston's teams are two of the best, NY's is decent, Baltimore's is alright. Buck and Pat aren't better than any of them.

    Indeed but probably worth it for them. This wasn't a charity piece, Hazel is making money, GotStyle secures future money via advertising, Travis loses money. It's not right no matter how much the suit costs.

    I find myself going to the Jays broadcast more since I've become a bit more biased. Need that excitement from the announcers when the Jays do something good.

    Whoa, Don Orsillo is my favourite play by play guy, maybe, probably. Tough between him, Len Kasper and DeWayne Staats. Regardless, would be awesome to have him replace Tabler and move Buck to colour. One thing Buck does that really bothers me is that he blatantly ripped off Gary Thorne's home run call. Every time the Jays hit a dinger, I cringe.

    It's not a joke though, it's a constant state. We don't like them, generally, and they don't like us, generally. Generally, they enjoyed rubbing their fleeting success in the faces of Jays fans the last couple years and now it's our turn. This was never a joke, this is about taking a huge steaming dump on a fanbase that needs a reality check. Is it immature? Yes. Is it petty? Absolutely. Who cares? If you think the joke has expired, ignore it. If it embarrasses you as a jays fan, there are things far more embarrassing. Such as the existence of Jeff Blair.

    His overt narcissism is annoying IMO. When you undeservedly act like you're the best thing to happen on this board and feel it's up to you to decide what is best for it going forward, you kind of reap what you sow. Personally, I can't stand that s***. Case in point, Smokey pointing out a perceived problem (which is a stretch for me but to each his own) means that he's crying for attention. Who the f*** goes back to research how many posts were directed at whom for the purpose of filling that narcissistic need in their life? Just a bit f***ed IMO. Though I'm aware the forum needs alternate viewpoints and he supplies them, plus some unintentional humor. PS your mod form is looking good!
