    People aren't even thinking about why AA would decline. Let's not forget that Shapiro did not force him to leave but rather AA made a choice. Obviously, Shapiro's modern way of analysing the game didn't jive with AA. Shapiro likely wanted a larger stat department that is actually used for meaningful things and to reduce the reliance on subjective scout analysis. If AA left, in my mind it means that he was not on board with these things and so I'm kind of glad he left. This is not a bad day for the Toronto Blue Jays.

    I am finding the hypocrisy in the mod clique utterly hilarious. King gets a week long ban for reporting a post he found offensive, I've been banned for reporting an unfunny joke, Vdub's been banned for mourning the bannings of decent posters... You've been railing on o2 since last night, calling him names, being rude to him in PMs, mocking his moderating ability, starting threads to piss him off, etc. The hypocrisy is outstanding. Nice to know the mods have consistent stand where no poster is above another, except o2. How does it feel to basically be a Bluejaysmessageboard.com deity?

    Really is funny. Arencibia is an awful player. Lawrie never realized his potential. Talent wise, they are not the kind of guys great teams have starting for them, generally. But no,all boils down to character issues.

    Sure, my point was more towards Gruber's arrogance in trusting whatever AA does 100% with no thought when he's made his share of past mistakes. Especially the ones we all knew were mistakes the moment they happened.
