  1. I think the argument would be more about whether Alvarez is an upgrade at all.
  2. Miami trade, Dickey trade, Napoli trade. Cordero signing, Navarro signing, not blasting JPA into space immediately... I'm sure I'm missing a few. You can believe it or not, it doesn't really matter to me. It's the truth, though.
  3. Thing that just amazes me about Tulo is how awkward he looks throwing the ball. It's almost like he prefers slinging it on the run, but the accuracy is just incredible.
  4. You don't want to see how far the rabbit hole goes.
  5. I don't think you know what borderline means, but OK. There goes crazy Jim again.
  6. If there's one thing you should definitely know, it is that AA does not like stats more advanced than OPS. It actually explains a lot tbh, he did some really dumb s*** while he was here. The Donaldson deal really saved his ass.
  7. He didn't decine by age either...he had injuries.
  8. Yeah I'm not sure why so many people are outraged that three people didn't vote for Griffey. Should be more outrage over the hundred who won't vote for Bonds due to self righteous dumbf***ery.
  9. Yeah weird. There's already a witch hunt gathering for the two idiots who voted for David Eckstein. There was even a MLB.com article about a case for Eckstein and it was basically just a long joke. And two people voted for a guy with no legitimate case for the hall of fame. They probably left off Bonds too.
  10. Salty Jack Morris voters maybe
  11. How funny is it going to be when Edgar Martinez falls off the list and then David Ortiz (the guy who usually wins "the Edgar Martinez Award") gets in on his second try? Funny? Sad? Not funny at all? HOF voting just makes me sad more than anything. I wish it didn't have the power it does so we could all appreciate the greats without approval from a bunch of cynical, clueless old farts whom the game passed by decades ago. E: oh yeah, and Piazza was totally clean, right? Any justification to leave out Bonds. f***ing mouthbreathers.
  12. Maybe you weren't funny and that's what offended him Not saying you aren't generally funny, just maybe in that moment.
  13. It means that some people here know some other people. Basically, take anything Hurl says about the FO at face value.
  14. Yuniesky Betancourt You're welcome
  15. Oh yeah? Didn't know they went public with that kinda stuff.
  16. I can't believe AA will have to work for a Fangraphs.com Guy at the end of the day. Life is a bitch.
  17. Well it is a little bit odd...even if they were gay.
  18. Aaron Sanchez is in that field. Rather give him up than Greene anyway.
  19. There is absolutely no way I could ever cheer for Rodney. He's just like Jose Valverde in that regard. Don't care if he ends up being decent, no part of me can get excited about that sideways hat wearing douchebag.
  20. I'm gonna be honest, all of those were just guesses.
  21. No offense but there's no parallels to be drawn between high teenagers and pro ballplayers.
  22. Yeah, maybe in 5 years he will finally get the chance to be a GM.
  23. Lance Berkman Larry Walker Raul Ibanez Hanley Ramirez Nick Swisher
  24. What's a one dimensional hitter?
  25. I didn't deserve best troll
