    If there's one thing you should definitely know, it is that AA does not like stats more advanced than OPS. It actually explains a lot tbh, he did some really dumb s*** while he was here. The Donaldson deal really saved his ass.

    Yeah weird. There's already a witch hunt gathering for the two idiots who voted for David Eckstein. There was even a MLB.com article about a case for Eckstein and it was basically just a long joke. And two people voted for a guy with no legitimate case for the hall of fame. They probably left off Bonds too.

    How funny is it going to be when Edgar Martinez falls off the list and then David Ortiz (the guy who usually wins "the Edgar Martinez Award") gets in on his second try? Funny? Sad? Not funny at all? HOF voting just makes me sad more than anything. I wish it didn't have the power it does so we could all appreciate the greats without approval from a bunch of cynical, clueless old farts whom the game passed by decades ago. E: oh yeah, and Piazza was totally clean, right? Any justification to leave out Bonds. f***ing mouthbreathers.
