    So the company you work for...say you got an offer that paid a non-insignificant raise from a rival company. Your boss says "hey man, please stay for less money. Your co-workers will miss you." Would you just say "oh, we can't have that" and stay there? I don't understand how you're so incapable of simple logic.

    I learned my lesson. There are only a couple teams I'd absolutely swap firsts with but I'm gonna tone down the arrogance and not challenge anyone. Plus, I only like half my team. Looks like the BTS special.

    Edwin's got a shot at a big pay day he probably never thought he'd had until a few years ago. It's very understandable that he wants to get a nice last big payday. I like Edwin but I could live without him. I'm all on the Bautista train, though.

    You don't think Jose would factor in that this is "his" team? He seems like a very proud guy and also that he really enjoys playing here. He's a goddamn Toronto legend. I said it before but I'll say it again, I simply can't even imagine current superstar Joey Bats playing for anyone else. Guy will almost certainly be worth the contract he signs and it's a no brainer from a PR perspective + he really likes it here. Edwin might be harder. I'm not usually so gung ho about having a guy retire in Toronto but I would be very disappointed if it didn't happen.
