    Hendricks is fine, Aledmys will turn it around, Bird had an unfortunate injury at an unfortunate time and Pearce is way better than he's shown. How did I get too invested? I took Pearce way down in the draft and grabbed Aledmys off FA. Also, if Villar sucks, that's ok too because I invested absolutely nothing into him.

    I gotta wonder if Lawrie is actually fixable. He's got talent, power and good bat to ball skills (or used to anyway) and is still in his prime. I think he might be a candidate to turn into another Justin Turner with a major swing overhaul.

It will be amusing when his castle of cards crashes down but unfortunately he always has the gift of Trout to fall back on. And I have 2 good starters, eh?     I watched one of the Rangers/Sens games where the Sens scored s***** fluke goal after s***** fluke goal (including the one to tie it with under 2 minutes left) and it reminded me why hockey f***ing blows. In my ideal world, s***** boring teams like Ottawa don't even get a chance to fluke their way to a championship.
