    Given the potential consequences for the batter, I'd have given Barnes 100 games tbh, and 20-50 for anywhere other than the head. I'd also be suspending and fining the managers hard. I think that would nip the problem in the bud.

    Yadier Molina has been an exactly league average hitter for his career. He didn't compare defense. That's not a very high bar to aim for and specifically 2009 Molina was just a tick above average with the bat. Plus, Molina might be the most overrated player since Derek Jeter.
