    I wouldn't have made this thread if you hadn't been gloating like a smug ******* the whole time during Pillar's hot stretch. Now that Pillar's line is pretty much exactly his projected line, I thought this would be fun. He can finish with a 110 wRC+, sure, but that still doesn't make your stupid "prediction" valid because it was based on nothing but homerism and desire. Just like how you predicted Ryan Goins was the next coming of Joe Morgan after like a week. Btw, nice projection on the 110 lbs thing. You're pretty close!

    I dunno how many people know this app, so I may come off as a fool, but everyone here should download Gametime. I got 2 4th row tickets in 114 for 70 dollars for yesterday's game. You can buy the tickets and then display them right from the app. Super convenient and easy to use.

    He's currently performing to projections almost exactly. Aside from the fact that Kevin seems to think he's a lot better than he really is, I certainly have no issues with him being a regular on this team but this is a thread to roast a moron who decided to brag about a dumb prediction he made after less than 2 months into the season.

    Some *******, for no reason, decides to pay for one of those banners flown by a small airplane to read "Lorraine I <3 U Basil" to make all the other guys look bad. My girlfriend said "how come you never do that for me?!" The plane did 4 laps of the stadium! My section was pretty funny, they were cracking jokes about Basil all game.

    Dunno if you guys saw on TV but the Rays were trying to kill all the fans yesterday. An old lady in the third base field level got smoked in the head by a liner and then the ball deflected nearly all the way to the outfield corner. Then another foul ball went straight back over the screen and a guy ducked literally just in time or he'd have gotten one in the head too. Also, if anyone else was there, f***ing Basil is the worst.

    Unfortunately, there's a certain allure about playing for the Yankees that virtually no other teams have. Maybe CHC and Boston, but that's it. Most definitely a factor for some kids.

    Because maybe cultures out East aren't as bloodthirsty for "justice" and vengeance like we are for people we neither know nor have ever met. Plus, those leagues are a lot shittier so talent goes a longer way.

    Exactly. Also, all of a sudden, it looks like I have a really good rotation going with Hoffman, Berrios, Odorizzi, Hendricks and Matz. Woo hoo! I also have the second lowest ERA, third lowest OBPA and second most saves. Really too bad my other half consists of 9 Alcides Escobars.
