Hmm, weird, i had been under the impression that Bleacher Report had improved from being a black hole of s***. E: didn't Jim Edmonds fall off the ballot too? Man, the BBWAA should not have the authority that it does. They have no clue what they're doing. I think eventually they are going to change the HOF process but knowing baseball, probably won't be for awhile.

The thing I find most detestable about Jeter is how much of a selfish ******* he was/is, specifically how he made the Yankees move A-Rod, a much better defensive SS, to play 3rd. That and the gift baskets and I think Jeter is not only an overrated player, but a severely underrated douchebag.

As he should be. But Scott Rolen won't be and Rolen was a much better player, that's my point. Jeter is a HOF but he's not a top ballot guy like he's being treated.

Well, Stroman may be a douchebag but he did trigger all the millenials: Point for him in my books. Also, Patrick Brown is pretty handsome, unlike Colonel Sanders who we have now. Having handsome people in government is good for the economy. -

Strikes out too much, not especially young, projected to be about average next year. I don't trust less than a year's worth of defensive metrics, and neither should you. I don't think he's bad player, he's just nothing special.

I'm not really understanding why there's a debate here...the Rockies blowing their load on relievers when they have lots of other holes that need to be filled doesn't deserve to be defended. Not like this org has a history of being smart and savvy either.

I don't assume anything, and I don't automatically believe the victim because I believe in something called due process. I have a real issue with women who go on twitter or Instagram to air out their stories, though. The police exist. I won't be so dismissive once they start using the proper channels, because when they do it this way it sure looks awfully fishy. Also, with the objection thing I was referring to her being dragged to the Apple store and stuff.
