I'm kind of questioning why the pitcher and catcher can't just have a headset. Then, mound visits would be entirely eliminated. THAT would be a good change, imo, probably why Manfred has never so much as mentioned it.

Yeah, Rob Manfred is ruining baseball imo. I'm not a traditionalist by any means but all of his changes this far have either been pointless (no pitch intentional walk), stupid (suspending players regardless of facts in police matters) or damaging (juicing the balls while not admitting it to anyone)

Like this signing a lot. Albuquerque was really good pretty recently and if he's recovered velocity, this could be a sneaky good pickup with zero risk. I kind of miss the days when AA was here because of the flashy trades (we'll never see a Donaldson trade with Shatkins) but our current FO has done a great job limiting risk while still acquiring quite a bit of upside. -

Yeah, it would have sounded so much better if I had said "The Giants' second best player...you know, not Posey but the other guy" just rolls off the tongue, and especially helpful since it was entirely unclear who I was talking about. Yeah, but Bumgarner is even worse than that because he gets pissed at bat flips/HR admiring when guys hit one off him, but when HE hits one, oh, then it's all ok. f***ing douche. He must be in my top 5 biggest douchebags in baseball and I hate how much people idolize him.
