    I certainly hope so, and if not maybe the ire should be directed at Atkins because there is no reason for everyone not be on the same page in this circumstance.

    Big difference between Ray who is contending for the Cy and Ryu who has an ERA north of 6 since the ASB. You don't manage the two the same. If Ryu gets in trouble in the 1st there should be someone warning. There is no tomorrow.

    The same should have been true in game 1 against the Yankees, but we saw Montoyo leave Ryu in a couple of batters too long.

    I'm worried that Ryu will get in trouble and Montoyo will wait until the damage is done before going to the pen. Hopefully the offense scores enough runs to offset bad managing.

    Before that homer the ump called a strike against Mullins on a 3-2 pitch that was almost a foot high without exaggeration.

    We could really use a double digit K performance with 2 ER or less. It would probably earn him a Cy Young as well.

    I can't think of a worse way to have your season end. If they win even half of those games they are comfortably in a WC spot.

    This was Bichette's first real big time performance in a game of this magnitude. Kudos to the young man.
