    It's really beginning to look like Happ won't be opening the season in the Jays rotation. I could see Hutchison and one of McGowan/Rogers/Redmond getting the final spot. I'd be fine with Stroman but I just don't see it happening before June.

    JFaS has him at 3.1 WAR for this season. In all fairness though, he's already admitted it's the oddest projection his system put out.

    Yes it does cost money. $19.99 a month or $109.99 a year I believe. I was just about to purchase a month of MLB.TV until I noticed this. Is MLB Network in Canada showing the game?

    The speeds are great but limitations are brutal. Haven't checked lately but Bell Fibe was crazy expensive last time I had a look.

    This is good news. "Update 2: A representative for 2K Sports confirmed to Polygon that the label isn't involved with R.B.I. Baseball 14." Should easily become the best Baseball game available for the Xbox.

    I doubt there is any truth to that rumour. It makes no sense for other GM's to avoid a possible trade partner, especially one that gave up Syndergaard and TDA for Dickey just over a year ago.

    video shows Alomar making a few defensive gems, also shows him using a the jump throw more often than Jeter.

    I wasn't aware Alomar was a SS.

    There is really no mistaking just how good Alomar was defensively, his range was absolutely incredible. The metrics were likely screwed from him not making plays on balls he should have never got to in the first place. It's not like it was only Jays fans who raved about his d, he was widely considered the best second baseman in the game for years.

    I'd rather see Kawasaki at 2nd over either one. He gets on base, can lay down a bunt, and plays solid d. It doesn't hurt that he provides the most entertaining interviews in baseball as well.

    I don't believe for a second that the Yankees want Burnett back.

    Burnett probably wont be returning to Toronto. He opted out because he wanted to go to a city that lived and breathed baseball, probably not an exact quote, but it was something along those lines.
