  1. Being dead set on keeping EE is wrong but trading him for not of equal value is the unquivocally the stupidest thing a bluejays gm can do.
  2. trade for billy butler, thats cute lol
  3. http://gifsforum.com/images/gif/cool%20story%20bro/grand/JOHN-BARROWMAN-cool-story-bro-eccbc87e4b5ce2fe28308fd9f2a7baf3-549.gif
  4. I believe in Hutch too, hopefully he's ready for the majors by late may, early june
  5. I 100% agree this team has a lot of work to do to be even competitive and by the time they are the payroll will be bloated. I have no believe in Jack Z to make shrewd moves and keep young cheap controllable assets to alleviate the rising costs of the trade market & free agency
  6. Assuming they don't make any more drastic contract offers, they don't have a lot of money committed.
  7. Would love Ventura but I think he will have a impact this year, Kyle zimmer looks like a workhorse but might have been overrated in the draft. Either would be good considering they're nearly major league ready
  8. it is, if he was a redsox he would be hyped to no end and be the main centrepiece to some big deals in the future. Hype serves its purpose
  9. would trade but for what? Kyle zimmer, ventura, the other bonifacio (power & takes walks), cuthbert (big time potential)?
  10. I'm not talking about his performance I'm talking about how he is viewed
  11. I would love Nolin to turn in a cheap version of Buehrle, 200 ips 4.00 xfip every year
  12. you're joking right?
  13. The length is ridiculous but no way this cripples them. The mariners are flush with cash and have very little commitment beyond Cano & Hernandez. If they add 2 more ridiculous contracts then we have a problem
  14. It feels like Norris fell off a cliff in the prospect world and guys like Tirado and Dejong are more highly rated. I'm confused he looks like a guy who is primed for a big year after making that adjustment last year. He's gonna have command issues but I predict he will reach AA and be close to a top 50 prospect if not a top 50 prospect. This is all null if he gets injured
  15. No sir, I chuckled a lot
  16. things are moving, things are moving
  17. J.P avg.212 obp.258 slg.408 woba .288 wrc+ 76 career war 0.9 Aaron Hill avg.273 obp.329 slg.434 woba .332 wrc+ 101 career war 20.6 Arod avg.299 obp.384 slg.558 woba .400 wrc +143 career war 111.0 I dare you to compare him to Hill and Arod again, triple dare you
  18. Yuo know AA is our gm right, this guy will trade our most valuable asset for something of lesser valuable. Our best player is injury prone, our pitching staff is unreliable, no second baseman worth speaking of, melky is essentially an old 30 year old and Brett lawrie is an enigma. Our most consistent and valuable pieces are the bullpen which is ridiculous to trust year to year
  19. I truly believe if the Astros or Cubs won they will have every intention of signing him and probably trade him the following season for a shitload of prospects if he delivers
  20. I really think he doesn't have the money and/or is afraid he'll get burned if he does give out free agent contracts
  21. Be objective, what is the best case if that were to happen? I think he will be a journeyman for the rest of his career
  22. There is no doubt in my mind a global draft is coming
