  1. He is injury prone, if he has a great year I would trade him for a stud pitcher
  2. I will not Lawrie is really overrated on this board
  3. and thats a healthy 150 games a year Lawrie which he hasn't proved he is so far
  4. No one but it wouldn't surprised me. All I'm saying is without defense Lawrie is a AAAA player right now
  5. Why, what if Lawrie has plateaued already, what if he is what he is (3.5 war/year)? Stroman still represents hope.
  6. Jimenez over Barreto, makes a ton of sense. Barreto is very much a long shot. Especially considering I don't think he starts in lansing this year.
  7. I don't understand how his agent can take a vacation when his two biggest clients Tanaka and Kershaw are due for big paydays this offseason
  8. I love that Griffin wrote that article because now it will put pressure on AA to sign a pitcher instead of trading for a mediocre one and giving up top prospects. AA should take a chance with Tanaka or Garza especially with Hutch and Stroman waiting in the wings. To reiterate Thank you Uncle dick for writing that article
  9. Lmao that latino pride man
  10. Now this is where scouts really earn their money
  11. Thats a fair but then there is Sanchez, he's not nearly as finished a product as Stroman but he is the prototypical Power pitcher
  12. He heard that Jadeveon Clowney was trying to outdo him
  13. Thats stupid if they do think, I hope to think that most gms who engage in trade talks with the jays know Stroman is gonna play in the majors and be a contributor. Sanchez is still up in the air but the guy has quality stuff which if their scouts watched one or two of his starts know he'll play in the majors if he gains even average control. I think its more likely that they don't wanna waste time talking to AA if nothing will come of it
  14. Its been reported by multiply places that he can touch 95 when he has to, I don't know why someone would say or write that he tops out at 88-90 mph.
  15. If he was younger, you'd be crazy not to take Uehara over Kimbrel. Koji was clearly the best relief pitcher last point blank period edit: Kimbrel might the best relief pitcher when its all said and done though
  16. no it isn't, you're extremely full of it today
  17. get over yourself, whether they believe in a deity or not is not of any consequence to you
  18. Stop it Jansen (Kenley) Rosenthal Grilli Melancon Herrera Romo Farquhar Delabar I wouldn't put any of them over robertson even with my yankees dislike of his yankeeiness
  19. Thats like saying Jesus is a top 5 deity
  20. Those were some truly god awful bullpens in the early aughts
  21. Remember Kerry ligtenberg hahahaha
  22. Looking back I enjoyed most of J.P Ricciardi's tenure other then not making the playoffs, always an interesting summer
  23. Don't be I remember that like it wasn't too long ago either, that was a great summer
