When I would play as the 2004 Expos, Brian Schneider would often lead the team with about half a dozen walks, all intentional.

Arencibia's K/BB ratio reminds me of an old PS2 baseball game I used to play (All-Star Baseball 2005, I think). If I simulated games, players would seem to walk normally, but when I was actually playing a game, pitchers would rarely throw balls. Most PAs rarely went more than two or three pitches because they were always throwing strikes. So if I actually played the whole season myself, a lot of players would have anywhere from 30-50 Ks, but only a couple walks. I think the most walks I drew was about 10 in a really bizarre season with Tony Batista. They really liked to throw him breaking balls outside.

Well if he can continue giving us six innings or so of VETRIN PRESENTS, and keep us in the game, I'm not going to complain too hard.

Actually, I'd say Spanky has one of the better vocabularies on the board. He's just drunk 97.2% of the time.
