  1. What do scout's grade Jiminez'z TWTW on the 20-80 scale?
  2. Man I would love if TO was brought in to do ball games for the Jays... The Hawk and the Buck.... I wouldn't miss a game. Long fly ball... but it's going to hang up... it's gone!!. f***in' love it.
  3. Best part of my day was watching the highlights on sportsnet this morning... I was wanting to hear bucks call again on bautista's homer...,... They dubbed it over with Ashby's from the radio.
  4. McGuire off to a great start... But all I care about is Jiminez. 1 for 1 with a double.
  5. Jays win tommorow. Rogers s*** balls his way through 5 innings giving up one run... Then the pen takes over.
  6. What's wrong with being biased? I want my guys being biased as hell... Just not stupid.
  7. Long fly ball... But that's going to hang up. It's gone.
  8. That's why I love Buck... That will make me laugh for days.
  9. He's with Deadpool's ex, isn't he?
  10. It would be awesome if the NBA draft had 30 rounds.
  11. He's pretty bad on the field... you might be able to play him 2nd base and he'd be ok..... but he's ops'ing .800 right now.... not that bad.
  12. Adam Dunn absolutely sucks... but something tells me he is going to take Dickey... deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
  13. In a heart beat I would do..... Mike Trout for..... Chris Davis, Manny Machado and Dylan Bundy (assuming good health)... I don't think the Orioles would though.
  14. But that team is going to have a dreadful time competing that entire time before he hits free agency. They are in dreadful need of pitching... they have an awful farm system... they almost no other trade pieces to fill the voids they have... and a tonne of payroll tied up in two guys that seem to be in a HUGE declining phase of their career.
  15. Haha... I remember last year someone started a thread and asked everybody not to reply directly to him as he could continue to update the original post..... as long as no one replied.... .. asking a bunch of trolls not to troll.
  16. What if Hamilton went the other way as well?
  17. Well that ruins my whole evil plan.
  18. Someone tell me if this would be allowed..... it's pretty dirty...... Houston Astros selected Mark Appel #1..... this is what MLB trade rumors had to say about his bargaining position. So what if the Astro's said "f*** him"... we will offer him well below slot, sign all of our other guys and say "take it or leave it"........ Then next year.... since they are last in the league anyway..... they can just pick him again.... and still have the number 2 pick in the draft......then...... they low ball him again. They will still suck and they can pick him again next year if he doesn't sign......... Then when they finally sign him he'd be pretty much ready to go to the majors (assuming he's playing independent league).... they would have him locked up well into his prime years... and when they are more ready to compete.
  19. It would still be a top pick next year.... and you could sign a guy a year older in a deeper draft and be further ahead in all respects.
  20. In a train of thought.... I bet young pitchers love facing mlb players on rehab starts.
  21. I'm sure you are right. But I still wonder why that is. I'm thinking... if you are pitching in Lansing you pitch a certain way. Maybe you can overwhelm so many guys with your fastball... or get hackers chasing stuff..... strategies that will not work in the high minors or the majors.... but you still want him in a setting where the results hardly matter.... so would he be better in Buffalo? Facing tough outs, learning for 3 years how to get those tough outs? Or like you said, do you do it a level at a time. But like I said... the results don't matter much at all levels and potentially you develop bad habits that you have to move away from anyway once you reach the high minors.... so why not just start there? Again... I think in the end, you... and player development are right.
  22. I wonder how Osuna could do in Buffalo right now..... I was looking him up on baseball reference and saw he pitched 20 innings at the AAA level as a 16 year old (Mexican league). That was 2 years ago. I'm not saying have him in Buffalo to accelerate his path to the majors, but to give him the most experience possible against crafty hitters.... Even though his numbers would not be near as good. I wonder if 3 years of pitching at that level would better prepare him.
  23. Don't want to start a new thread..... but I was curious as to what it would be a good match up for Mike Trout..... I don't need to be told it would never happen.... I know. But I see the Angels as a team in a much, much worst position then we are. Trout is pretty much one of the few pieces team would want...... and probably the best chance they have in bringing in enough pitching to help them.... and probably the only guy you move that will allow you to move Hamilton (assuming he would waive his no trade clause)...... If you were the Angels, how could you package Trout and Hamilton to best help your team in a realistic trade option for both them and other teams?
  24. Osuna Norris Sanchez Stroman That's still a good group of young arms.
