Great post. It's exactly what they should do. If it doesn't work, the jays have a tonne of assets at the trade deadline if they need to blow it up. -
Also weighted balls..... weighted balls have to work really, really well.

I don't think it's that bad.... at least to get a wild card. 1. Morrow needs to stay healthy. 2. Dickey needs to be somewhere between last year and the year before that. 3. Buehrle needs to do what he did last year.... a non s***** April and May would be nice. 4. One of the following has to challenge for the final 2 spots.... And actually 2 of these guys will have to be huge.... with the bottom 3 having little chance to be huge. Drabek Hutch D-Mac Stroman Romero Redmond Rogers Happ 5. Hope to god Melky's problems stemmed from tumors and not lack of roids. 6. And of course good production from the regular hitters... and hopefully much better production from the new catcher.

I like this. I don't think we needed to sign either player. Sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't make..... There are a lot of wild cards in play for this staff. I can see some working out. -

Horrible call. But I don't think it was the worst call against Lowry this year... Wasn't there a play where he got run over and was called for an offensive foul.
