What? It's annoying when people ask if Yan Gomes is any good, you auto toss him and he turns out he is actually good.... and then that annoys you? Ok....

But the problem is... that isn't happening. That's just what a few of you guys say... and then just suck each others dick a bit and declare it true. No one thinks Ryan Goins... or Jim Negrych.... or Yan Gomes is the next Bautista. Yeah.... it's ALMOST better that we don't have Bautista... because now people want Yan Gomes or Ryan Goins to get a look... yeah... that's it... what a f***in' retard.

Sierra's arm is an absolute weapon.... I think he'll be ok at the plate as well. If there is a sac fly in a close game... there's not many other guys I would want receiving it then Sierra.

I've always been a baseball fan.... But only became more then casual around 2010..... In those few years I've seen just so many guys become very useful major leaguers after being almost completely written off... Edwin, jose, Loup, Gomes, Napoli, Gattis, Delabar.... And I'm sure there is a tonne more.... Anyway. I just can't understand how people can so confidently and completely right guys off.... and yes I'm thinking of Goins.

I loved Gomes.... That's not bragging, mostly ignorance... I was a sucker for spring training stats. When I asked the hive (led by queen bee BTS of course) if he had a shot to suprise... I was shot down pretty quick... He was just minor league trash.... But if you think of his background, he was a good candidate to suprise.. He took up the game late... He was a backup at surely got less reps then the rest of the guys in the minors.... Anyway, I'll be rooting for the guy.

Actually I think he'd have a fine arm at third right now... I think when he couldn't hit a barn door he was terrified and had one foot out if the league. New confident Eddy would have a much more accurate arm.

Ryan Goins defense is incredible. Bat... Not so much.

To expensive. They have starting pitching even without Scherzer. They could get young prospects, help their bullpen and a couple of low A prospects for long term.... And then they would have a tonne of extra money to spend on other needs.

If I was the Tigers right now I would be on the phone with AA, looking to trade Max Scherzer for Stroman and Sanchez... and maybe a couple of prospects in low A.

He's not the best fielder, but he has a pretty good arm.
