JV needs to wake the f*** up on D. Stupid fouls.

Derozan racking up the boards/steals. Gotta be smarter with his shot though. Very reckless offensively so far.

Pretty impressed with the defensive intensity to start though. Forcing lots of tough shots. This team desperately needs JV to become an elite rebounder though. It's their one glaring need... but it's such a huge one.

Watching a clip from the New Orleans game... stadium is like half empty... They have such a good young team too... Meanwhile we'll probably have like 5K people outside of the ACC tomorrow night in the square.

Can't wait to see the Bulls fall flat on their faces. Talent is there but the injury concerns are way too glaring. I can't see them getting close to 55 wins. 50... perhaps.

Miami won't be nearly as bad as you think. I could see them winning 45-48 games. Phoenix is also a fantastic team. I would take the over on that quite easily. They have one of the best backcourts in the game.

3rd row at the ACC in the upper bowl for a Raps game is a fantastic spot to sit. Even the Fan Zone tickets way up aren't really that bad.

Steve Nash out for the season. His career is likely done. Imagine if he signed with us a few years ago? Lowry probably never comes back and we would've been hamstrung with that contract. Thank god we didn't get him.

Bebe Noguiera still getting extremely limited minutes... I thought he looked quite good last night while he was out there. Nice shot blocking presence. This is what scares me a bit about taking Stiemsma... Bebe isn't going to get any playing time at all.

Saw tickets to tonight's game at the ACC against some random team from Israel going for as low as 2 bucks on Stubhub if anyone is interested. Good chance to see Bruno get some extended minutes.

A few observations early on: -Lowry looks to be in fantastic shape... He's clearly 100% healthy now. -Derozan's handles have noticeably improved. You can see all of his hard work with that dribbling coach during the summer paying off ( ) -Johnson and LouWill appear to be meshing in well with the offense. Very excited to see how these two progress this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see JJ start over Ross by mid-year... Lou's shots aren't dropping now but he's getting some good looks. Knee appears to be healthy. -Patterson looks fantastic. I don't think he's anywhere near his ceiling yet. Perfect stretch 4. -Defense needs some work but the offensive sets have looked really good. They look to be in mid-season form already. Great chemistry. This is clearly the deepest/best team that the Raps have ever put out there.

There is talk that the cap could jump from 63M to 80+ million with the new TV deal. Kinda sucks because the Raps have positioned themselves very well with the current cap.
