  1. Amare: "Atlantic division is wide open" http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1358875 lulz
  2. I'm not afraid of Cleveland at all to be honest. They looked horrible last night. Love is playing with minimal confidence, Lebron looks extremely passive (and apparently hurt his elbow last night), and Kyrie continues to just freestyle/ball hog. Their bench sucks, they have no post presence. I think we beat them againt tonight. Their depth is so hilariously bad. Shawn Marion looks like a 50 year old out there.
  3. http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1358757&sid=a109266a409760ebae81f19efc50732c TL;DR Lou needs to stop doing the exact same damn thing at the end of each quarter..
  4. Yeah maybe you're right. I just don't see us getting past a big team in the playoffs though. We might be able to shoot the lights out for a game or two but eventually they'll just out-grind us.
  5. An aging player having a down year on a s***** team isn't going to cost us that much. Lou was a bonafide 6th man candidate having a down year/injury issues and we got him & Bebe for Salmons' 1M guaranteed contract. Financial flexibility is always coveted. Don't sell Masai short. If he really wanted Al I think he could get him without touching the core. Anyways, what a disaster Charlotte has been. Thought they'd be a 45-48 win team for sure.
  6. A first and some expiring deals would likely get it close. Why would you pass on him? He's a legit 20/10 guy who has always been extremely efficient.
  7. Charlotte are a huge bust. I wonder if they would consider trading Big Al? We have some nice pieces that we could send back in return. He would make us instantly on the same level as Chicago. 2016 NYK/DEN 1st rounder Nogeuira A lot of expiring contracts on the books I think it could work.
  8. Trade for Hickson or another backup C who can rebound please. They're kidding themselves if they think Amir can hold up into the playoffs.
  9. I'm sure I'll recover.
  10. *Golfclap*
  11. My one worry is that Lowry appears to be playing a huge amount of hero ball. He was successful in the last few possessions scoring but there was very little ball movement. He's taken a ton of shots the last two games. Effective but it can't last.
  12. Solid win but doubt we get that if Boogie is in the lineup. Regardless, I'll take it. Ross and GV are stepping up huge with Demar out. Ross still needs to attack the rim way more though. Don't think he even got to the line once last night.
  13. As expected, Demar's MRI is negative and he flew to LA with the team. He was looking for an out last night. If he had started the game 5-8 instead of 0-8 he would've popped back up 100%. DeKobe needs to check his f***ing ego and get back to getting his teammates involved.
  14. http://sports.cbsimg.net/images//visual/whatshot/tumblr_msplmw6GX51ro5xweo1_400.gif Aw jeez
  15. ` Why do we need a power bat as a result of this move? Just get the best overall player for the right price.
  16. Can`t win em all. Great fight back against a great team. Demar was terrible. I doubt he`s even hurt. I think he just wanted an easy out.
  17. If Lawrie plays 130 games I`ll eat my hat.
  18. Great article re: Bruno. We might have a real gem here.. His work ethic sounds top notch http://www.nba.com/2014/news/features/ian_thomsen/11/28/bruno-caboclo-toronto-raptors-by-ian-thomsen/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt6d
  19. Open Gym starts on Tuesday btw. Fantastic, cannot wait. Such a great program. "Bell brings you closer to the Toronto Raptors and other NBA stars with Open Gym and you can watch it all season long on TSN4. The all-access documentary series, produced by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, takes you into the locker room, on the road and into players and coaches personal lives all season long. Entering its third season, it provides full access to the Raptors and their players. This season, for the first time, Open Gym is available in different versions and across multiple platforms. It airs on TSN4 Tuesdays at 1pm et and Wednesdays at 7:30pm et. Bell customers can also watch these broadcasts live on their smartphones and tablets through mobile TV on the Bell TV app and part of Bell's TV Anywhere - offering the best content on the screen of your choice."
  20. Funny thing is that 90% of the people who voted for the Raps can't even watch the game on NBA tv in Canada.
  21. Raps fans rig the vote and get their team on US TV again http://www.nba.com/nbatv/fannight/
  22. -Winning -Great fanbase -Drake/GV connection -State-of-the-art practice facility that will be built soon We have some pull now with KD. Still gonna be tough though.
