How can a guy who is athletic as Ross be so terrible playing perimeter defense? Guys like Korver and Redick destroy him constantly. Can't blame his short arms on this one... He just doesn't have the will to fight through screens. He simply hates contact.

Well yeah obviously. My point was that they could've scheduled a more intriguing matchup. Memphis/Portland/Houston/Dallas/New Orleans all could've provided a much better matchup for Washington. The NBA could've easily scheduled one of their games against these teams on Xmas. The Knicks are an absolute joke.

Some 60 win team is going to get knocked out by OKC in the first round. The last few weeks of the season are going to be quite interesting... Lots of strategic "tanking".

Pathetic how they put the Knicks/Wiz on TV on Christmas. There are a lot of good games on this evening but come on NBA.... Horrible game. Give me something better to watch than this.

We do have some assets... Lots of draft picks... Rights to Deandre Daniels Isiah Canaan is also apparently available... Would be a nice replacement for Vasquez after next year (could also allow us to deal GV in the offseason to free up some extra cap space)

Moss was never really known as an *******. He just dogged it sometimes and took plays off. I don't think his teammates disliked him. He's actually quite well spoken seeing as how he grew up in a complete shithole. Watch his 30 for 30 on ESPN. It's a miracle that he made it as big as he did. His hometown is one of the most ghetto places I've ever seen. Easily my favorite athlete of all time: "Randy Moss don't stretch on game day, I come ready. Varejao may have a torn achilles. He's only been playing 24 MPG for Cleveland but that weakens their depth significantly.

Atlanta is playing way over their heads. I just don't think this is sustainable.

My dad is a Vikings fan because of Bud Grant (former CFL coach who also coached the Vikes). He indoctrinated me since I was born. I wouldn't recommend being a fan of this team.

Amir was completely useless yesterday... They need to find ways to get him days off on these back-to-backs. How can you play him 33 minutes against a horrible Knick team in the first game of a back-to-back? The coaching staff needs to be more careful in how they use this guy.

I loved the effort at the end of the game though despite the fact that they had no chance to win. Very admirable. They know that they s*** the bed that quarter and they tried to keep it as professional as possible. I think we'll win a couple on this trip.
