Why not just play Lawrie at shortstop? He can clearly play it. He has the arm strength and great range. -
Well nobody predicted Bennett would go #1 so you never really know. I could see something ridiculous like drafting Exum even though they're already covered at the guard spot. They're one of the most incompetent franchises in the history of professional sports.

Capela looks like a pretty big sleeper. Awesome shooter and huge wingspan. Looks to be a very efficient player overall.

Next offseason: Prince 7.7 mil Johnson 7.0 mil Fields 6.3 mil Hayes 6.0 mil Will all be coming off the books with the core locked up. Things are looking SO bright for this franchise.

Actually yeah I really wouldn't be surprised if he tried to move up in the low teens with those two picks. I don't think that I would though. Two picks in this deep draft.... Tempting to just stand pat.

This would be an fantastic deal. Such a deep draft... Re-sign Lowry for four years. Draft Ennis or another PG (Won't need to pay Vasquez 4-5M even though I like him a lot) Re-sign Patterson for a decent amount Lots of cap space opening up in the upcoming years to make a play for a FA. Love this.

So basically Memphis gets Salmons.... Cuts him (only 1M guaranteed) and saves 6ish million. We get a 22nd pick and pay Prince 8M this year.

I really hope Masai can turn Salmons' expiring contract into an asset. I trust that he will. Edit: Just saw the rumors about us going after Memphis' 22nd pick. Wouldn't be surprised if the deal was built around a few expiring deals. There was talk about the Grizzlies rebuilding a bit (letting Z-Bo walk and trading Conley).

Strike out rates are still good. GB% is fantastic... 6th in inducing ground balls as a reliever over the last 5 years at 61%.... Guy is still very useful.

Not sure what to think of Marcus Smart. Tons of physical tools and clearly has an NBA-ready body... but is he an NBA-calibre shooter? Not sure.

Loup is more of a 2+ inning guy in my eyes. Downs is pretty much a straight loogy. Downs can still get LH out. I would love this.

Wow... I would bring him back in a heartbeat. Bad start to the season but he's been consistently nails for like 6-7 years.

I think Vonleh has a chance to be really, really good. Big, athletic guy who is an outstanding shooter. Sign me up.
