  1. Jays will only be .5 games up tonight by the looks of it.
  2. Sounds like negotiations are "starting at 12M".... So minimum 4/48?
  3. From a Real GM poster: "Grange also said talks around the league was there wasn't a whole lot of interest in Lowry to begin with since most assumed he would re-sign with the Raptors." Maybe the deal is quite reasonable if true. My prediction: 4/44
  4. Reading the report from Grange now. This is.... fantastic.
  5. lol @ "FBI notified of breach" American taxpayers dollars hard at work.
  6. He strikes me as being a bit aloof/lazy. But if he went to a team like San Antonio he'd probably become a great rotation player. Guys like that need to be surrounded by winners so they can learn how to prepare properly.
  7. Chris Broussard: Sources: Cavaliers flying to NJ today to offer @Kyrie Irving max deal (5 yrs, $90 million) on July 1 Twitter @Chris_Broussard I think everyone saw this coming but LOL @ the Cavs. Kyrie is talented but he's such a ballhog. He doesn't make anyone around him better. That franchise just keeps getting gifted opportunities to become elite but never will be able to.
  8. Apparently Rondo is asking for 100M ish Just lol
  9. Signing Lowry is an absolute must. I don't want to sign anyone else. Sign Lowry and that's it. Organic growth FTW. We have so many young, high updside guys on the team now... Keep it together. C: JV, Bebe, Hayes PF: Amir, PP, Bruno, Psycho T SF/SG: DD, Ross, Williams, Fields, Novak PG: Lowry, Vasquez That's already 14 guys not including teh 2nd round picks. They clearly need to cut someone... Fields could actually be useful on the defensive end.... So it's gotta be Hayes or Novak. I just don't see any room for anyone else. Bruno more than likely doesn't come to the NBA this year or is in the D-League for a lot of the year though. Bebe looks like he's ready to contribute defensively so I hope he's up.
  10. Raps also pick up Psycho T's option. You could do a lot worse for a backup 4/energy guy.
  11. Also... LOL @ the Nets... They lost a projected 144M last year. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/234028/Report-Nets-Projected-To-Take-$144M-Loss-In-13-14
  12. Messiah pushing hard to get Lowry re-signed ASAP: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1331341&sid=f32003654f5c4e768d5699b39acacb07
  13. Some dude on Real GM posted this (assumes a KL extension at 11M a year along with PP and GV extensions)..... Not sure why he has Amir at 10.5 though so that should be subtracted. http://i1373.photobucket.com/albums/ag391/rspetko/RaptorsRosterJuly2014_zpsb756c338.jpg
  14. Hayes has an expiring deal next year.. Masai probably could turn him into something as well. Probably not though.
  15. All of this roster depth with Hayes (6M), Fields (6.25M), Amir (7M), Psycho T (3.3M) and a few other misc. contracts equalling 2.5M all coming off the books after next year. http://www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/TOR.html So much flexibility... No bad contracts... Jeez things are looking up.
  16. I love Vasquez as the backup PG. Brings a ton of swagger and I think we get him for a hometown discount. He loves it here.
  17. He's raw but wow @ that athleticism. Dude is a beast in transition. KL will be racking up the assists with this guy in the fast break.
  18. Boner alert:
  19. Kid is a legit 7 footer with agility and some decent post moves. He clearly just needs to fill out a bit more. Jesus f***ing Christ.
  20. This trade makes no sense. Maybe if ATL could save like 10-12M or something so they could sign a true star.... But they only save 6M and gave up two legit assets. WTF
  21. Vid of Bebe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TexsuZl_zkg#t=21 Scouting Report: http://www.nbadraft.net/players/lucas-nogueira "Strengths: A project, but one with loads of untapped potential ... His game has made some noticeable strides over the past 6 months ... A high level athlete even by NBA standards with ridiculous size/length at 7' feet, with a 7'6 wingspan. His combination of length and fluidity/athleticism makes him an extremely intriguing prospect ... Quick reflexes ... He even shows some touch around the basket and a decent offensive feel. While not much of an outside threat, his midrange game shows some ability and potential to develop ... He's best at scoring on garbage baskets and can get out on the break and finish ... Seems to understand what he does well offensively and stays "within himself" ... Solid rebounder. Goes after the ball on both ends and although his positioning could improve, he's got natural rebounding abilities ... Quick feet. From Brazil, and his footwork is excellent, a "futball" upbringing has given him excellent foot dexterity. Able to slide his feet laterally better than the average 7-footer ... Solid hands. A 60% free throw shooter, which is not great but good for his age and position and should improve ... As the 2012-13 season has progressed, his defense has shown some improvement." Biggest knock is that he's lazy. Get him into a winning culture and that'll change.
  22. This team is starting to develop some serious depth... C: JV, Bebe PF: Amir, PP, Bruno SF/SG: Demar, T-Ross, Williams PG: Lowry, Vasquez Throw in a few decent role players like Psycho T, and De Colo and we really have a f***ing awesome, young team moving forward. Very few useless players on that squad. They all have upside or can contribute right away. No junk like Buycks or Stone.
  23. Williams is a pretty solid guard by himself (20.2 PER just a few years ago)... but to get a 7 footer who was a 1st rounder LAST YEAR is pretty impressive.
