Rasmus is a bit of an enigma.... at times last season he looked like he was going through the motions, other times he gave a great effort. And wasn't he late a bunch of times and in at least one instance didn't show for the game?
There are professional athletes that don't care if the team wins/loses. They play for a paycheck after all, not a championship.
You can't tell me Lind wants to win just as much as Bautista.
Win at all costs - Bautista, Halladay, Stieb, Clemens, George Brett
Winning is nice - MB, Dickey, Cecil, etc
Have fun / meh - Bonifacio, Lind, Izturis, JPA, Wells, Delgado
Probably Santana's last kick at the can
He either just wants to top up his earnings a bit or truly desires the glory and satisfaction of winning games.... let's hope the latter
8 (or was it 10?) walk game?
15 minute workout Lind was in TO for a while, guys get too comfortable/complacent with losing/mediocrity..... I'm afraid a guy like Reyes is similar, although not Bonifacio bad
Bautista is a d-bag but at least he badly wants to win
Ang do you golf? I've played a bunch of courses in your area, plus one in Punta Cana, another in Puerta Plata, and that great course Playa Grande two hours east of Puerto Plata that DeNiro flies into on a helicopter
Lind seems to be too opinionated, you know the type that can't keep their mouth shut for very long. Lawrie the same, those two probably had some gabfests into the early hours spouting off about AA, Gibby, teammates, etc
Good riddance
So put on your GM hat and tell us who you would trade Sanchez for, that improves the team and doesn't add much salary? Easier said than done.
You are basically looking for a Sanchez for cost controlled 2B type of move
