When my handicap was 12 (I didn't start playing till 35 yrs old), the way I got it down into the single digits was by increasing percentage of up and downs. Two hours a day for a month at the chipping green meant shaving 4-5 shots off a round by chip/one putt and the odd chip in. Spend 2 hours a week on chipping/putting green now to maintain.
Helped that the private course was 5 mins at the office and at 5 pm there was no one on the practice green.
speaking of cito, last year saw him in the lionhead parking lot, one lane over, waved and yelled 'hey cito'..... he looked at me, didnt wave or nothing, got in his car.. douchebag
ps. shot 80 on lionhead legends, double on the last
