  1. I'm thinking if all goes well, Sept 2016 at the earliest and competing for position spring 2017
  2. unless he goes into a massive slump, he has to be promoted very soon
  3. He doesn't need a significant improvement, even some minor improvements here and there (such as continued development of a changeup) will have him end up as a mid-rotation starter in his prime.
  4. My argument is that Sanchez isn't hurting the team, and while the peripheral stats (improving by the way) suggest an impending implosion, until that happens he gets the ball every 5th day. And that's he's been OK as a 22 yr old 5th starter. What's unrealistic about this? And wouldn't you agree Tercet's argument that Sanchez's numbers are bad and he should be sent back to Buffalo is unrealistic?

Plenty of times for both. It's been well reported that mid last year in Buffalo an adjustment was made that has worked. Bautista made an adjustment to his batting and became a superstar. It can happen to any player at any time. Not saying Sanchez has found a repeatable delivery that works in MLB, but the signs are encouraging. Also, his BB and K rate are now identical, and trending in the right directions.

  8. LOL, you are delusional
  9. Yes, someone needs to watch that kid
  10. Still want to ship Sanchez down to the minors?
  11. My prediction was Osuna would be fine, Castro would struggle. I can find it if you want.
  12. Ban for letting emotions dictate business decision
  13. Sanchez in, Pillar out, in your books?
  14. Donaldson has 35 PA against Felix. Not enough of a sample size to sit him, IMO
  15. Ya, and Morrow didn't get hurt, Romero didn't implode, Dickey pitched closer to a Cy guy than medocrity, then maybe
