Agree Cito came close to Gibbons level of idiocy sometimes. As far as rookies go, Hentgen, Green, Delgado, Stewart, and several others all came up while Cito was manager. I'm sure you know Cito was Jays hitting coach for a few years before becoming interim manager.

Cito was quite good at managing a pitching staff, way better than Gibbons. Bautista credits Cito with his turnaround at the plate. Cito was good at some things, bad at others, overall average. Gibbons? He makes mistakes like Navarro as primary DH, and has no redeeming features, none. He's average at some things, bad to terrible at others, overall he suxxx.
