  1. kill embarassing thread
  2. price is expected to be more expensive than grienke, yet grienke is the better bet going forward
  3. yer dumn. Muni till Travis is back
  4. move tulo for prospects, then sign Greinke for 30 per, and Lincecum for 4/60
  5. The fastball won't stay plus as he ages.
  6. Price scares the crap out of me for two reasons. His recoil at the end of his motion = injury waiting to happen. He has not developed quality secondary pitches which means he won't age well as his velocity declines.
  7. carrasco more valuable than Halladay at time of that trade
  8. Remember Fatty at DH for many games early in 2015? Good times. Will Gibby do it again? You betcha. Just say no to Fatty.
  9. The last 20 posts already covered by the above
  10. One very good season as a reliever in mostly low leverage situations does not an elite reliever make.
  11. Really? You should get out more.
  12. $50K signing
  13. So for max effect, a lefty in the mix along with Dickey would do the trick Kazmir
  14. You right, Happ likely looking for 4/40 or something.... too much risk Who would you target among the FA class?
  15. Haven't seen anything but the traditional thinking is a mix of right and left handers
  16. Jays do not have a lefthanded starter. Does it matter? Or is JA Happ a possibility as a fifth starter. Stroman ? Dickey Estrada Happ Depth - Chavez, Hutchison, Sanchez
  17. sure, either team could win the deal. thats baseball steamer has chavez at 2.2 war, hendriks at 0.7 war in 2016
  18. They are sometimes available for the likes of Santiago Nessy.
  19. this was a sell high on Hendriks for a guy with a better track record understandable trade given the Jays circumstances fair trade
  20. not getting worked up. just fixing your misconception
  21. 5Yr Average starts by starter - 33, 31, 24, 22, 17, 11, 9, 6, 4, 3, 3, 2, 1 So 39 starts is the average number of starts by the 6th or greater starter Losing your No. 1 and your No. 2 (MB) having a dead arm in the 2nd half..... nah it wasnt "relatively injury free"
  22. Losing Stroman puts the lie to 'injury free 2015' Historically, the 6th starter starts ~20 games in a season. No small amount. Good swingmen are quite valuable.
  23. AA was rumoured to like him.... who knows with Shapiro
