  1. I can see him resurrecting his career in the bullpen, yes. 3:1 K:BB rate as a starter in 2015, he likely puts up quite reasonable numbers as a backend bullpen option. Better than someone like Tepera.
  2. Would rather use the money left and get Latos (24 starts in 2015 at 3.7 FIP+) for the rotation, and Marcum for the backend of the bullpen. f*** Cespedes. It's time for the Pompey show.
  3. he's mexican though i can see the 25 lbs gained
  4. Can you give me some market advice?
  5. JD has one big free agent contract coming, health permitting. Hard to see him signing a team friendly deal.
  6. Dickey and Chavez are both FA after this coming season. Doesn't mean they won't be re-signed. For 2017, Stroman, Happ, Estrada, Sanchez, Hutchison are under control. Greene and Harris in the pipeline. Agree that Gallardo for 3 years is for 2016 and beyond, and a good signing depending on the $$. Having said this, this is most likely media rumour mongering.
  7. And "Top 10" JPA isn't even a backup catcher lol
  8. You've captured my vote for worst troll.
  9. this is how i see it also Stro, Dick, Gallardo, Estrada, Happ Chavez swingman Hutch and Sanchez depth in Buffalo
  10. i'm sure shapiro is talking to a lot of player's agents nothing to see here
  11. Agreed. But not racist to assume all asians are bad drivers. That's a fact.
  12. PussoBob knows he would be destroyed
  13. Pompey/Saunders are better options than what is available and fits the Jays constraints.
  14. Pretty strong insult. Why would it be idiotic?
  15. Sanchez seems to be a well liked clubhouse guy, irrationally not liked on here by some posters. Him and Syndergaard were tight too back in the day.
  16. Unless salary gets moved. You know, like how things are done in the NBA
  17. You referring to GD? I can't see it, he'll shoot his load before he even gets it close to pussy
  18. Mariano Rivera 1998, 29 Yrs old, 5.28 K/9, 2.49 BB/9 1999, 30 Yrs old, 6.78 K/9, 2.35 BB/9 2000, 31 Yrs old, 6.90 K/9, 2.97 BB/9 Aaron Sanchez (As Reliever) 2015, 22 Yrs old, 6.49 K/9, 2.39 BB/9 Not saying Sanchez is going to be Rivera, I'm saying its stupid to refer to his K/9 and BB/9 as a 22 yr old reliever and call him a bust, s***, or whatever (looking at you Boxy, spittin)
  19. 'scientific' wrong board, my friend
  20. Who would you rather in LF in a pinch - Goins or Colabello? Don't say neither.... in a pinch means you are scanning the bench for someone to run out there. Its a counterpoint to the idea that with a Revere trade, we need an OF addition. Bautista, Pillar, Pompey, Saunders, Zeke, Goins is plenty enough options
  21. With Saunders/Pompey in the fold trading Revere could be seen as addition by subtraction. It's Pompey's time.... Saunders I expect will be primarily a bench bat/DH/reserve OF. Goins can also play LF. Don't need an OF addition, the only real need this team has is an improvement at the front end of the rotation. Good to hear the Dickey rumour (even if suspect source), hopefully Shapiro has something in the works. Perhaps, and no one wants to hear this, with Storen in the fold they are looking at moving Osuna+ for a young #2.
  22. Jays will be damn lucky if either of them become half the player Revere is
  23. Shi may be out of job soon
