  1. "Perceived value exceeds actual value" is true for every prospect that ever was.
  2. The hive posters saying to trade Sanchez last year were saying 'trade him before he loses all his value'
  3. Some pegged him a bust a little over a year ago.
  4. Your thoughts on a fair return?
  5. People in baseball higher on Sanchez than the BJMB hive.... figures.
  6. Probably same reason some rich folk shoplift. Cheap thrills.
  7. Speak for yourself dude, he not coming near my back pussy
  8. Agreed then. Except the K rate is low. Expect a quality 3rd pitch to be developed and the K rate to get up to ~8.
  9. I don't see a scenario where his BB/9 drops that low. BB/9 of 3.5 - 4.0 would be optimistic
  10. Welcome to the bandwagon Former haters are welcome
  11. 6.5% in 2014 7.0% in 2015 Trending up. Needs another secondary pitch as we all know. Pretty hard to get SwStr when serving a steady diet of fastballs? Chris Carpenter the guy I compare to Sanchez had years with 5.9%, 6.3%, 7.0%
  12. Soon there won't be anything for the haters to use to justify their 'Sanchez suxxxx' stance
  13. Floyd has pitched < 100 innings in the past 4 years. If he is 5th SP, it will be for a limited time only until he drops dead, or a radical Muslim gets him.
  14. Obama has been an excellent president, a million times better than his illiterate predecessor. If you don't agree, take the partisan blinders off.
  15. Won't happen. Injuries and suckage guaranteed to occur among the pitching staff. Even if Sanchez starts the year in Buffalo, he will be back in Toronto for a good part of the year. Sanchez is 23, if he is going to be a starter long term, the time is now to see if he can make the grade.
  16. Elite overall
  17. Any debate about AA's tenure has to include his weird hard-on for Reyes
  18. who was it that wouldnt move Hoffman for McCutchen
  19. Don't think they care about results. Just get the work in and hope no arm issues or whatever it was that was ailing Estrada.
  20. Pillar is a very good baserunner.... 1st to home is quite possible with any ball down the line/into the gaps. I'd rather Saunders or Tulo, if Pillar OBP sucks he won't be leadoff for long. Also, Shatkins probably shaking their heads over this. Gibby on short leash?
  21. dumb to offer a deal they know has no chance of being accepted
  22. Yes, great bullpen, except the list should be: Osuna Cecil Storen Chavez Sanchez Yes, Chavez over Sanchez on the depth chart.
  23. Maybe the wrong word. But trusting in the unproven commodity as opposed to the proven. At some point you have to trust or have faith in rookies. Last year several posters were calling for Jays to sign a FA two bagger, BB in particular. Everth Cabrera for example, he of the .250 OBP in 2015. Cuz Travis raw, unproven, etc. Who has the best chance to be this year's Travis? Pompey. Give the man a real chance.
  24. Jesus. You seem to take a very dim view of prospects. Have some faith. Also, a player under control doesn't even have to be good to return more surplus value than a player on a market contract.
