  1. Ha, nice one. 60% is too high though, it is closer to 10% in my estimation. A good chance in the grand scheme of baseball things. But you are right, the statheads would come up with a probability with 2 decimal accuracy, to give it an aura of legitimacy.
  2. You think Sanchez has no chance to be an ace?
  3. I understand some need to find negatives. On the positive side, an effective changeup is under development, there is cutter, even a slider has been seen apparently. Control is improving but needs work. And he's 23 yrs old, a little older than Jon Harris. He's clearly an SP, and good chance a future ace.
  4. DFA Cola coming soon Should have been moved for some low leverage reliever
  5. Travis was on fire at the plate last April to lead the team...... no one similar so far, but long season
  6. 13K in 13IP for the year, with 3 BB (2 due to s*** ump)
  7. QS by Sanchize against a good hitting team, despite not having his best stuff Flashing ace upside
  8. He's used a 3rd pitch. Just enough to keep the hitters off balance/guessing.
  9. Sanchez is passing the test. The new arsenal gets lefties out. Said many times a 3rd pitch and the K rate will get up to 8-9K/9
  10. We've learned his floor is a MLB calibre starter. Doesn't have his best stuff, still getting the job done. Whether he becomes an ace or not is all left to be learned.
  11. Anyone want to change their poll choice?
  12. yes and yes and you realize in the offseason SS are available? he's not the same Tulo, let's see what happens over the next while
  13. you realize he would have fetched a nice return? he's on the downside of his career and has a considerable injury history...... lot of risk here
  14. not overreacting..... there are lots of good reasons for the move including freeing up cash for other moves like signing EE or whoever
  15. all offseason i was saying move tulo for prospects, sign a MIF for half the $
  16. Good test tonight for Sanchez, let's see how his new arsenal plays against LHH. Hopefully he keeps the haterz at bay.
  17. Sanchez value high now. Must trade him before its too late.
  18. And there's the rub. Sanchez is a late bloomer physically, difficult to find repeatability and master secondaries when the body is changing.
