    Martin's OBP is .375, despite the bad luck of a .256 BABIP. He could return a nice piece. One of McGuire, Jansen, Pentecost should make it.

    The Expos had Carter, Cromartie, and Parrish come up as 20 yr olds in 1974, Valentine a year later as a 20 yr old, and Dawson in 1975 as a 21 yr old. Raines came up a bit later in 1979 as a 19 yr old. A great time to be a Cdn baseball fan. Just a shame that team never won.

    Crap i put in a waiver claim for Hernan Perez and was denied because i'm at the 25 player limit. Why not give the opportunity to drop a player as opposed to being 1 player short through the waiver period??

    He'd be a great sign if the Jays had several cost controlled regulars. The timing is wrong. Better to move him for prospects and sign a similar contributor in terms of WAR after Vladdy and Bo et al arrive.

    Pretty much every elite pitching prospect in the minors struggles with command. It's the difference between boom and bust for these guys.
