  1. Not sure if already posted. Carlos Correa out for possibly 2 months after suffering a fractured rib during a massage at his home. Must have been an unlicensed masseuse.
  2. Matthew (Toronto): Not related to the Top 100, but what are your thoughts on Alejandro Kirk lately? He's clearly hitting the ball well, but how do you feel about his chances to remain a catcher? Josh Norris: I believe he has a very good chance to be a catcher who contributes on both sides of the ball. He is one of my personal favorite prospects in the minors.
  3. It's too early to be spending big on free agents. The time for that is when the team has a good complement of cost controlled regulars.... headed there with Vlad, Jansen, Bichette, Pearson, etc Jays front office decided a rebuild was needed. You can agree or disagree with that decision, most here agree with it.
  4. just logged on, f***ing awesome
  5. False. Useful MLB bullpen pieces if a starting gig doesn't work out.
  6. To be fair, the question is like asking who is better, Verlander or Cole. Or who is better, Maile or McGuire
  7. Either is a good answer. Borucki when he is on can suppress the long ball, Thornton better at missing bats but susceptible to getting hit hard.
  8. In general, you want your arms in MLB as soon as they are ready. Arms have an expiry date.
  9. No. Not Vlad, not Jansen, not Biggio, not Bichette, etc. Boxy plan - extend EE, Bats, Smoak, Pillar, Stroman, Sanchez, keep Martin, keep Tulo. Dumbass.
  10. Depends what is offered. Smoak has a hot June, could be a good offer on the table. I don't get your "worth more to us then trade." Guys like Smoak are invariably worth more to a contending team than a rebuilding one.
  11. Who will have the better career. Thor or Sanchize?
  12. First you make a snitty comment, then you insult me. Grow the f*** up.
  13. Hey, do you not respond to the comments of 1 poster? Or do you only respond to the comments of the forum. Douche.
  14. At least one poster suggested keeping him for 'vet leadership'.
  15. I stand corrected then. He was awful last season, so he has evidently worked hard.
  16. Drury spent a lot of time in OF for d backs. Over 100 games. Gurriel 7 games in OF last season, and looked fine to me. Biggio we don't know, but chances are he is better in OF than Hernandez.
  17. Drury, Biggio, and gurriel can all do the OF better than Hernandez, for one. Probably galvis also. You might be the only one with this concern.
  18. This is true, but I purposely wrote the post L54 quoted to be not about my own team. Don't want to appear overly cocky. Man what a turnaround in our match yesterday.
  19. Sure the value is not great, that is obvious. But doesn't matter, a lottery ticket in rookie ball is fine. Also the idea of holding onto Smoak to support the youngsters is dumb to me. No evidence of any value here. Maybe knowing the one good restaurant in Cleveland or something.
  20. I don't mind a Smoak extension but would rather he be traded. He'll be 33 next year, in the decline phase and probably will not be a very useful piece by the time the Jays are good again. So get a young asset for him now from a contender needing a LH bat.
